I wanted to start a topic about dope. drugs and drug related periphanelia, and crimes, and laws, and whatnot.

SO BAM TALK ABOUT DRUUUUUUGS.

I think most drugs are bad because sometimes people can take too much and get hurt or they can become addicted, and lose their job for stealing, and start beating on family members out of anger for lack of money to get high.

I think most drugs should be legal but with bigger consequences for dui. Pot at the very least, I'm sure everyone can agree on that.

People should be able to do what they want with their own bodies etc etc.

 

Only drug I use regularly is alcohol and I'm cutting back because I'm trying to get my old fitness (and body) back. Double vodka red bull is all I'll have in a night, and beer occasionally.

 

Tried pot a couple times a few years back, it was ok but I prefer alcohol. If it were legalized I might do it occasionally but until then I'm worried about another laced batch. (I know the chances are tiny but it sucked)

 

lsd is a [bleep]ing amazing life changing experience if you do it in the right conditions. Been there and done that though so I haven't done it since. Plus I'm scared of a bad trip like I got when I had pot laced with pcp. (I don't think deliberately, he didn't wash the bag or something.)

 

The 'I don't need to escape from reality/I can have fun without drugs' argument grinds my gears. It's not a replacement for life, it's the experience and enhancement. Like watching HDTV. Until you get hooked anyway, but I don't have an addictive personality. Sure you might not want to do drugs for whatever reason and that's cool, but it sounds like a shot at those to do experiment.

I regularly smoke weed, and i've never noticed it have any negative effects on me.

It's not called trolling, it's called creative annoyance. But I'm not really trolling, I just wanted to start a topic on drugs cause I might have been high.

Everything that makes you feel good will make you want to do it again. Eating, drinking, playing sports, having sex, you name it. That doesn't mean it's addicting.

I've stopped smoking weed ever since ALL my friends, even the boring ones, started. I used to only smoke with my 3-4 friends (after high school, before that it was just whenever possible) but now that there's like 10 people that go outside simultaneously during parties, I just make the decision to stay inside (with all the girls). Weed is too boring, and everything else is too expensive to get high off (yes I'm a cheap bastard)

Weeds alright. It's good having a smoke then sitting listening to music, beats getting drunk off your [wagon] then going to some club definately. I wouldn't try anything other than pot though, Lsd doesn't appeal to me at all and other harder drugs are just a no-go, period.

I've never smoked anything or done any drugs, mostly because my asthma can get so bad that being in a smoke filled bar for too long gets to me.

 

I think some of the appeal of drugs comes from its "forbidden fruit" nature, similar to drinking. If adults (parents) weren't so hardcore against it, up-and-coming young adults wouldn't feel the need to rebel and use them.

I've never done drugs. Don't see the good in them at all. I do respect the fact that people can do whatever they want, though. As Diesel said above, so long as it doesn't affect me in any negative form.

Drugs are overrated and I hate people who push that overrated ness. I don't think drugs are evil sinful things, do whatever you want; but don't go on a friggen crusade, thinking you're breaking the norm, and all smart cuz you can name some facts that drugs aren't bad.

 

It's like being proud of drinking when you're 45. Other adults won't be impressed. So shut it!

Weed is fine, acid is if it's controlled. Shrooms are good but I wouldn't go near those, since there are tons of mushrooms that look just like them but are extremely poisonous so you never know what you're getting. PCP is [developmentally delayed]ed, DMT (is that what it's called?) is [developmentally delayed]ed, anti-drug extremists are annoying as [bleep] (you can dislike them if you want but if you go around saying marijuana will kill you if you touch it... Don't think anyone here is like that though), and people that smoke pot once and think they're badass just piss me off. Opiates like heroine are just plain stupid and date rape drugs are sad ("uh oh, this girl doesn't like me so I'll slip something in her drink and have sex with her in front of everyone!"). Don't know much about ecstacy but it seems a little dangerous from what I've heard. Coke and crack are probably the drugs that give the safer ones bad names. They're the ones that ruin lives when people get addicted. Well, and heroine.

 

What'd I miss? Alcohol is fine if you don't drive or do anything stupid. Prescription drugs should be left for the patients. Ahh, that's every drug I can think of right now.
