Aiel
35 rune (the slowest skill, why bother training it?) its one of the best constant money maker in the game, that's why you should bother training it. also, firemaking is cheap and hell, and you profit off magic if you want too. Saunamajuri
You say that member skills are slow to train althought hunter, farming and construction are very fast usually. Thieving will get faster once you get more levels. Fletching is generally fast, so agility, slayer and summ are the only ones left. And slayer can train up to 4 other skills at the same time. bacara1138
Actually the only skill that REQUIRES lots of money to train is construction. Firemaking is really cheap, magic is easy to make money off of. Herblore can be a sink if you BUY your herbs, but who says you have to do that. For prayer, Dragon bones are real easy to get by yourself. Summoning pouches can be sold back for 70% return, so you don't lose a lot money overall for that skill. As for skills being slow, at your level I seriously doubt it. If your skills were in the 60s or 70s then maybe you could complain that, but for low levels I don't buy it. You just need to find a more efficient way to train. After all, this game is about grinding levels, so might as well enjoy whatever skills you are training. tripsis
So you want every skill to be cheap, fast and easy so you can get 99 in the blink of an eye? Some skills are expensive, others are dreadfully slow and then there are some that are incredibly cheap or ridiculously fast/easy. Variety is good, and so is challenge. All the skills in RuneScape used to be MUCH harder; the game as a whole has only gotten easier/faster over the years. Adding onto what Gidion said, RuneScape is not a race. Enjoy the process and the journey because that's all there is. Once you're done, you're done. I had 99 banked before I decided to stop since the skill bored me to death.This. Construction is by far one of the fastest skills to train. Stealing creation hammers speed the fast process even more and they dont cost anything. And buying oak logs and making planks from them only costs 320 gp for each plank. Because I know how to train Construction efficiently, I usually have way better con level than others from my level range. Even faster is if you use teak planks. Costs a little bit more, but if you cut the logs yourself, you will most likely obtain special teak logs, which can be used to make full inventory of logs to planks for free. And even thought you would buy the logs, it still only costs about 600 gp per plank. Making logs into planks actually makes profit if you sell the planks. You`ll get about 250 gp profit for teak planks and almost 300 gp for oak logs. Cutting the logs yourself will make minimum of 350 gp (because the random special logs can make logs for free.) for teak, and 370 gp for oak. I may had gone off topic, but hey, post still contains solid facts and tips. And when it comes to construction, I always defend it, since I love the skill. Well, construction isn't THAT cheap, still costs about 50m to achieve 99 with SC hammers. But definately cheaper than herb/summ/prayer. Anyway, OP is totally correct that herblore has gotten insanely expensive, but oh well. Nobody is forcing you to train it, spend your money elsewhere.
