the 3 weeks journey to 99 def is over!! so now what?

Well my 3 week journey to 99 def is finally over as i reached my last lvl today. Im trying to figure out what to do now that im done with that. Here is a few choices im looking at atm.

 

1. 88-99 Wc on ivys / using sawmill or on yews/magics

 

2. 82-99 fletch making yew / magic longbows OR addy/mith bolts.

 

3. 85-99 fishing using Cavefish/rockfish or monkfish.

 

4. 80-99 magic using String jewelry / Plank Make (if i have enough money)

or any other options if you can suggest something else

 

P.S i have about 25m to work with so im open to alot of options.

Construction could be a good idea, since gp is worth very little now. And considering construction pretty much is made so it only takes gp to train, it could be smart to do it now, before anything is done from jagex about the inflation.

However you won't get 99 with 25m. But if you would like to get it higher anyway, then I would say this would be a good time to do so. :)

If your going for magic I would personally wait until you have enough to burst/barrage.

You'll regret it if you get 99 magic without going to rock lobsters as summoning helps alot and its a lot of magic, hp and summoning exp saving time in the long run.

@atestarossa, Well i really dont really go in my house much and im not planning on training prayer for a long while so a guilded alter would kinda be a waste of money. Ty for the advice however.

 

@Joe, Well i have 35m but i would perfer to save at least 10m of it incase i decided to work cb again so i can afford some more gear. How much do you you suggest i get before burst/barraging from 80-99?

Trust me, you don't want to get enough for 99 mage, just burst with the 10-20mil you have spare. The reason is that its really easy to get bored bursting, so do it in small increments. That way you wont get too bored, and do other things in between to get more money.

Honestly though. Just go for what you want. Don't ask us as we aren't you therefore we cannot make the best decision for you. Only you can make that decision.

 

Personally for me I'd go with the WC or fish because they are lovely capes out of those you picked.

Why would you train a skill for hours upon hours just for the colour of a cape? To the author: just do the skills you like, you are not forced to get 99, 90 in a few skills is much nicer IMO

I wouldn't particularly do it for the colour. I'd do it for the cape itself, or because I like the skill. WC and Fishing are 2 of the skills I love most along with Smithing, so in this case I am inferring my own bias.

from a few 99 magers i was told to do string jewelry until plank make(86?) then plank make until 94.

Bursting/barraging is a stupid idea. You're 83 slayer, so I presume you plan to continue training that at some point, which will get you the charms you need for summoning. I'd go with 99 magic, stringing and then plankmaking is a good plan. Plankmaking is actually a bit slower xp/h than string but far cheaper which more than makes up for it if you don't mind click intensive training.

I don't see it as silly at all.

99 magic, would put him at 99 or close summoning and 99 hp

 

Slayer would be quicker with a titan for multi combat areas and a yak for dragon tasks.

 

Higher summoning opens up a lot more options for slayer and other combat skills then simply using non-combat magic.

No point in getting 99 magic then bursting/barraging for charms.

 

99 summoning using purely slayer would take pretty close to you getting 99 slayer and since slayer is one of the longest to train skills it makes sense to unlock familiars which help speed it up as soon as possible.
