New Skill: 31st May 2010?

I was browsing through RSOF to check the twitter released earlier today to see if anyone got any cool ideas, I couldn't find any, so I checked this topic (below) and its a theroy which I think is right.

*** Please Bump if You Support My Theory ***

The release date of the new skill! WITH EVIDENCE

Included in the development blog of the themepark is the anagram "GreasySpaniel" which was confirmed is a hint to the release date of the new skill.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

How I decoded the anagram:

"GreasySpaniel"

- If you look at the anagram there is no space but 2 capitals "G" and "S", this clearly means something.

- If you look at the map of the themepark at attraction 7, you will see log flume is spelt "loG"

- With this I took the G out of the anagram and arranged it backwards giving "LEINAPSYSAER" or seperated "LE*IN*APS*YSAER"

- This arranges to "Leaps In Years"

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ok so how does this relate to the release date?

Well, did you notice how much the word "construction" was used in the blog, there was no need for it to be mentioned so much so it again must be another hint.

So, what it is telling us is the release date "leaps in years" from construction release which was the 31st may 2006. This gives us the release date 31st May 2010.

I know what you're thinking now, what about all the "13" hints? well... reverse 13 and what do you get?

Thankyou very much!

RELEASE DATE FOR NEW SKILL = 31st May 2010

More on the number 5 Hints:

Taken from: Dios Guthix

QFC: 16-17-454-60739001

> On the "Chaos elemental's 13D Cinema" it say "view five alternate endings"

> On the "Rune-away minecarts" it say "Dwarves must be at least five feet to enter"

> On the blog it say "in the 5th Quarter of 2010"

> On the blog it say " I have spent five years skulking in the shadows, working like a wasp to design and build a theme park."

The 5 and 13 both fit into my theory. also the 13D cinema viewing alternate endings is a hint to flip to 13 to a 31. Could also mean alternative ending to the release date of construction! (2006 - 2010

It doesn't make sense for them to make such elaborate schemes just to hide a date. Besides, they didn't want to have a set date to release it on. And, really, i find it funny that they can make this up out of this. The biggest proof that people just have too much free time is named sailing. By the way, 50% of the map is water, and it's named "wet" and wildy. Wet=water=boats=sailing. See what i did there?

Keep RSOF on RSOF.

That actually sounds like... not crazy :o

But it would be a [cabbage]ty date for all the people whose exams start in June so idk, I remember a statement indicating that the release date would be good for most of the people (making me assume July) :|

It was an april fools joke...so jagex probably intended the sailing stuff in it...

I think the release date may be a bit farfetched but who knows, could be right...would be an economic logic date imo, a month before summer break...

There isn't such month as the 31st. Calendars have only 12 don't forget.

(yes I know you don't mean it that way, but if you do it that way you will get us Brits telling you that you have it the wrong way round and it's stupid)

Therefore I corrected it for you.

Anyways, could be possible, but I think it's one of these looking too much into it, however it would coincide with the "it'll be out nearer the middle of the year" thing MMG said, so how much closer do you want it than 24 hours closer eh?

It's plausible, considering 31st is a Monday. But Jagex is like Valve. They have their own time zone.

i thought i was the only person on the internet who likened jagex to valve time

but frankly the amount of threads we're having about this i'm going to be skeptical, i reckon it'll be july or even august.

whether it makes sense or not it's not necessarily true, you say black cat you think black cat. I can pretty much say any date between may and august and make up a story look for big updates in that period and say the day but it's not necessarily true plus last minute bugs can occur.

Well if Jagex was going to post a set release date this would be the best way for them to do it. If they do get it out on time then they congratulate everyone who figured out their clues, and if they don't then then they just play it off as if there was no clue about the release date and life goes on like normal. So it is plausible that this is a clue about the release date.

Yup, Valve Time is just like Jagex Time imo.

Also, like someone else said I'll keep this theory in mind, and won't shoot it down until the 31st. Who knows? It might actually be true.

(Also, I lol'd at the post above me)
