I guess I just don't understand it, and yes I did read the info. on it. If anyone could give a quick rundown on the Kinship Ring I'd very much appreciate it, one thing I really want to know is when is the best time to reset it lol?

Has anybody else completely forgot the rest of RuneScape existed since this skill has came out? Ha.

How it works:

Each time you do a floor you haven't done in your current "prestige" run you get a prestige bonus. The more floors you do the higher this bonus is.

Your base xp and the prestige xp are averaged

So if u do say floor 12 and get 600xp and prestige 12 is 700 xp you get 650xp (before the multiplier stuff)

If you repeat a floor you've already done you get 0 prestige, this hinders your xp.

Say u redid floor 12 ud get 600xp 0 prestige, so the average is 300xp.

When you reset you're current prestige score backs stored as your previous score and all the floors are set to having not been completed (you can still access them all, they jsut count as incomplete agaisnt prestige)

So say you do floor 1 through 12 but then can't do floor 13 due to it not being unlocked. The idea is you hit reset so that you can do floor 1 - 12 again getting decent xp.

Another perk of this is the game always picks your highest prestige out of current and previous. So if you reset at 12 (worth 700xp using my random examples) then do floor 1 you get Base xp of like 20 for the floor but prestige of 700 so you'd get 360xp, instead of when you originally did floor 1 with prestgie of 1 and got like 30 for prestige resulting in 25xp

So are you saying it's best to keep starting at floor 1 then go down through all the ones you can do consecutively then reset the ring?

That's the general consensus, as that way you keep gaining prestige, and get more xp.

That's whacked. You mean to train this skill efficiently you need to spend several hours straight doing the different floors? I mean, if you could somehow take a break....but that's impractical...

Squab unleashes Megiddo! Completed all quests and hard diaries. 75+ Skiller. (At one point.) 2000+ total. 99 Magic.
[spoiler=The rest of my sig. You know you wanna see it.]

my difinition of noob is i dont like u, either u are better then me or u are worst them me

Buying spins make you a bad person...don't do it. It's like buying nukes for North Korea.

Well if it bothers you that the game is more fun now, then you can go cry in a corner. :shame:

your article was the equivalent of a circumcized porcupine

The only thing wrong with it is the lack of a percentage for when you need to stroke it.

Just no.

You can exit any time you like, as long as you completed the floor the progress is saved and you can go back in from wherever you got too before.

The ONLY way prestige and floor progress is reset is when you actually press the reset button in the party interface.
