L0rdAki
Well, I brought a DFS with some crazy plan to get 90+ range on blue drags by tanking them. However, after re-thinking I thought it might be more efficiant (Time wise) to chin to 90+, because I can make about 400k+ an hour. I'm currently holding onto the dfs as it's rising, and i'll use it as a short-term investment. I've got about 50m total cash, would chinning be a better way? (No void either, cba to get it >_>) Drops: Black Mask.Clue rewards: Sara Plate, 2 Robins, Some other random stuff.
Danny_TeamDan
Range is personally my favorite skill and is super easy to train so I didn't bother with chinning. It's your money though and if you really want it then Chinning is by far the best exp in the game.
L0rdAki
Ah, i'm not worried about it being easy to train or anything. Just saying that because i could get like 20k? exp per hour and idk how much cash an hour at blues, would it be better time wise to stick to my current money making method (400k+ an hour) and chin my way to 90 range? To save time that way. Drops: Black Mask.Clue rewards: Sara Plate, 2 Robins, Some other random stuff.
Bladewing
Chinning is the only efficient way to train ranging. EDIT: or cannoning slayer task, but that's not really training ranged. How to Chin Nechyraels for fast XP and profit
L0rdAki
So chinning is best? Should I buy 90 range/Mage first then get arma gear? Or vica versa? Drops: Black Mask.Clue rewards: Sara Plate, 2 Robins, Some other random stuff.
Socrates
So chinning is best? Should I buy 90 range/Mage first then get arma gear? Or vica versa?I think you'd struggle to get arma gear as well as range and mage to 90 with a 50m budget. I guess I would probably get the gear first because once you've got the levels that money is no longer there and you can always re-sell the gear Thanks to Jopie for this great signature.99 Slayer|Fishing|Summoning|Hitpoints|Attack|Strength|Defence|Fletching.Anyone at Manchester University PM me
L0rdAki
I'd be thinking of making money for a few more weeks before chinning/ammy stringing. I pick fungus ATM for cash. schmuall
I'd be thinking of making money for a few more weeks before chinning/ammy stringing. I pick fungus ATM for cash. Remember that grey chins are 3 quaters of the xp of reds at only half the cost. (someone did the maths once and worked out that you should use reds if you earn 2m+ an hour, otherwise use greys) My advice would be to suck it up and get void, it's always a useful thing to have. Also, Chinning isn't as effective until you get into the Higher range levels (90+) so it might be worth your time training normally to 90 then just chin to 99 (if you want it). Although if you really hate range, chin right away. give F2P a penny and they want a dime; give P2P a quarter, they want 100,000 dollars, your car, house, boat, social security number, credit card numbers, drivers license, clothes on your back and everything you ever owned or interacted with ever
L0rdAki
I'll look at getting void next weekend...I hope that i can get a whip loan for Pest Control (Too cheap to buy a whip XP) What should I look at killing to 90 range? (someone did the maths once and worked out that you should use reds if you earn 2m+ an hour, otherwise use greys)No, you only need to make about 600k/hour for red chins to be better. And you need to make about 500k an hour for grey chins to be better than cannoning/knifing, so really except for a few people who make between those values, reds are the best. Deathmath
Sorry, but is the black mask for ranging any good. (and what is it called) Thoroughly retired, may still write now and again
Jain_Charin
Sorry, but is the black mask for ranging any good. (and what is it called) Focus sight. It's great I use it whenever I can. I can't make a slayer helm yet. only 80 combat. :/ But I can hit ~135 at 90 range with bronze arrows and msb.
