The race to 120.....

So dungioneering is a fairly slow skill its been around a week and the number 1 player is only 80 or so. Generally when the first few people get 99 the skill stops becoming "the new skill" and starts becoming just another skill. At 69 the current max prestige is unlocked so its been a few days with the top dungioneers having that they got 74 then 77 then 80 so assuming they are playing a lot the skill is not getting way faster at the current max prestige. Remember w/ hunter and con people were around 70s first day with the first 99 being a week or week in a half...

don't remember summoning but it was probably around a month?? for the first 99?

so now with the cap 120 how many of the people will actually keep going and get level 120 and when will we see the first 99/120.

Will new floors/dungeons be added before the first 99/120 if after 1 week the top is only 2million exp then like 4-10 more weeks for the first 99 ?

No.

If it's been a week for the top person to get 80, which is 2,000,000 exp, you have to factor in they have only been gaining (we assume) their top exp per day as of the day they got level 69. From now on, we'll probably see the top people over level 69 pulling around 3,000,000+ exp a week, meaning the first 99 will probably be within a month of the skills release.

I'll put my money on that.

Now, who knows when they're release the new levels to Daemonheim. If they release the next batch before the first 99, expect the first 99 to be even SOONER than my above guess.

I have to agree with Outsanity. But I would say within 3 weeks from this post we will see 99 Dung. For sure. Unless the higher skilled people just decide to quit.

I'm wondering how long until Queenvalerie gets it. ;)

I'd say I can get around 25-30k xp/hr fairly easily. I've only played a few solos or 5 mans a day and it's still been fairly easy leveling up. I'd say this is probably the 3rd slowest to level after slayer and runecraft.

You call 1 week to get to 80 slow?!?

Pretty much the fastest 99 in game is/was hunter and that takes 2 weeks no lifing meaning you should hit 92 in about 1 week.

So lvl 80 in a week isn't "slow" by any measure

Apparently they're getting about 30-35k exp/hour now. Comparable to slayer really, and will get faster with any update to it.

Is that soloing or in a team?

probably team (and probably duo)

solo isn't great xp at all from personal experience.

If other players are already getting 30-35k xp/hour, I don't think 75-100k xp/hour would be too hard to imagine once the remaining floors are released.

Will also depend on how often their mums drag them away from their computers to go get some fresh air (unless they've stashed in supplies and have advanced locks installed on their doors reinforced with titanium).

I believe many of them either live alone with a way of generating income or go to college.

A few NEETs have parents who would support them financially in any way, not caring if they get fresh air or not.

Some serious no lifing going on for people to be in the 80s within a week :ohnoes:

My bet is that it is someone from Korea.

I thought Koreans play Starcraft...

Anyways, I'm willing to bet 99 in a month or so, and 120 in half a year.

Pretty impressive getting to 80 in a week, this is one hard skill to train fast. I think the 30-35k xp is probably teams. I played my first 5-man map yesterday and got over 40kxp in barely an hour, i'm a fair way off maxed combat, and only had prestige 31. I definately think it's possible to be getting 50k+ an hour IF you get a good team together who play at the same time every day. Maybe these lvl80+ players have got a good teaming system going, or maybe they've just found their own personal speed training method.

Solo xp is terrible in my experience.

The speed I quoted came from a youtube video of one of the top players.

"This is large floor 35 with a 4 man team. The floor took about an hour and 50 minutes to complete but we've done floors of this size in an hour and 15 minutes before. It's a lot of luck on where keys and altars are. I'd say the average xp is 30-35k xp an hour because you've got to waste a lot of time clearing lower floors to get prestige."

He got 48k exp for the dungeon.

That's fair, I could have just had a nice floor generated. And the point about clearing lower floors is a good one. I think 35k is probably more realistic atm than my 50k esimate :P

I guess the max atm depends on whether you spend your tokens on xp too, it doesn't seem like much but I wouldn't be surprised if some of the top people on the high scores aren't bothering to buy any of the rewards, so when they get to 10m exp they can just get another 1m in 5 minutes or something. If the amount of these you can cash in at once isn't capped i'm expecting the top of the high scores to be quite dynamic

I'm averaging like 500xp an hour right now, so I really hope is starts to speed up...

I would estimate at least another year and a half until somebody gets to 120. It could take around 9 months if they carried on at this rate for all those months, but I doubt anybody would do that.

Im guessing we will see 99 within the next few weeks and after that the race to 120 will begin for the top players and I would have to guess only the top players for now. I would say it will be another year before we see a 120

You guys underestimate the no-life skills of some of these people. 120 in 6 months is my guess.

But if it takes around 1 month for 99 at around 13m exp, 120 is around 104m exp (or somewhere around there) so logically it would take at least 8 months, but surely nobody could keep that intensity of no lifing up for 8 months.

Seeing as the accepted speed of training at the moment is Slayer (25-30k/hr), RC (25-35k/hr), Agil/mining(45-55k/hr) I'd rank 35-40k/hr at lvl 70ish as slow.

You can get 70k exp an hour with agility.

But what you'e forgetting, again, is that by that time new levels of Daemonheim will be released and I'm sure people will be making 100k+ exp per hour with this skill.
