This week's poll, albeit slightly late, asks:

What are your thoughts on the current Dungeoneering Rewards?

  • I like them.
  • I like them overall, but I'd like to see some changes.
  • My thoughts are neutral.
  • I like a few things about them.
  • I don't like them at all.
  • I haven't yet experienced Dungeoneering Rewards.

I'm not sure if people really even have had the opportunity to try out these rewards yet...

It's too early to really tell, to be honest.

There should be an option for "I like the rewards, but some of the costs need serious reconsideration," which is how I feel about them, with the exception of disliking the chaotic crossbow and staff entirely.

EDIT: My mistake, I suppose it fits into the the second option.

I thought that fit in with "needs some changes".

In general, the rewards are alright (i don't know much about the combat things, nor would i understand it very well), but i don't think they even played the content (as said by a lot of players). Seriously, how did they not realise that it's impossible to get the items at the level given? Physically possible at Level 70 (something) to get the bonecrusher which is unlocked at level 20 something....

Although it's said to get fixed soon; Should not have happened in the first place, mainly because it's not a gltich or code error, they did that purposely.

Done.

Replace it and save it until after they overhaul the rewards system.

Posted my version of it.

By the way strilmus, I replied to a post of yours on that thread that was moved to Rants. <_<

Like others that posted, it is a bit early to say.

But as of now, all look very appealing, just the cost is really [explicit] high. Getting 65+ Dungeoneering for a Bonecrusher is a little crazy.

I do love Dungeoneering, but this is just mindblowing to me. We'll see if they change any of this.

Besides, did the level 87(+?) Dungeoneering player (Rank #1 in HS) buy one of the Chaotic items yet?

Ever since they stated that they were going to rework the reward prices in the post release update to the skill, I think everybody has been hoarding their points (so I expect the most savvy speedlevelers to notice too), save for the few who actually think that putting tokens into more dungeoneering exp is actually useful and not at all a huge waste of tokens that should be saved up for really cool rewards.

HINT HINT.

Although some rewards are quite awesome (longbow sight and the magic amulets), some are simply pointless (nature/law staff).

I plan on spending my tokens on exp anyway.

The recharge cost for gravite weapons can be up to 1mil gold for 10 hours. I don't think the average level 45+ F2Per can handle that.

I don't care about gravite. Anything that degrades after use for some time is simply not worth it.

That's a pretty bad assumption. Berserker shields and battle robes are decent for the cheap token recharge cost. It's all a matter of whether the recharge cost is worth it, much like barrows.

This is looking at a F2P perspective, so that's why I would say that.

Combat/Druid Robes: Runecrafter robes have nearly the same stats but do not degrade.

Berserker: This is probably the exception, as it still has an offensive bonus even after it becomes 0 form.

Gravite weapons: Recharge cost, for obvious reasons. Oh and you can't use it after it degrades.

This poll is flawed - if you look at the rewards themselves, they all show a degree of promise. The general concensus seems to be that the prices need adjusting, but this does not fit any of the poll options. Option 2 is the one suggested for those who view the rewards as I do, but it rather implies that the rewards need changing rather than the reward prices. In order to achieve anything the poll needs to have an option relating to the pricing specifically, so as to avoid any confusion over what the mystical 'changes' might constitute.

I totally gave up on this "skill", took me a whole day and still haven't got past lvl 6 (i'm soloing fyi; finding this thing very difficult to learn and do :((((( )

The reward is good. Maybe I'll get back to it after they decrease the price exponentially. In the mean time, I have my sight on Gem bag (yes free up three bank spaces), coal bag, frost book, and longbow sight. Degarding stuff just don't appeal to me AT ALL... That being said, where's the bank space increase???

This poll should be postponed...the correct one should be about how you like this new "skill" or something like that....

(y'all should save up token for multiple coal bag...that thing might just change the whole mining/smithing economy...HINT HINT)

I feel that the rewards need some serious changes.

- By that i mean a lower cost (or more tokens, or a higher lvl)

- More rewards( dungeoneering uses every skill but only offers combat rewards?)

- Better integrated with the rest of runescape (make this kinda like agility where you get passive rewards for your levels, IE: shortcuts or hit higher on monsters in dungeons or something)

Well the gem bag and coal bag seem to be skill based rewards.

also on another note the tome of frost will change f2p mage pure training forever in terms of being able to only need body runes for curse training.

Staff of earth + tome = awesome :P

QFT. besides listed items, everything looks amazing, and i wish that i could buy them all without detracting from my goal of chaotic longsword.
