Is it possible to be too nice?

Sometimes being extremely nice is charming, but then again sometimes it can be extremely annoying. I find most of the time it's charming, most people are probably annoyed though.

For example, I visited my grandmother last weekend and it rained so she kept apologizing for the weather. But she's almost 90 and cares for a farm by herself so she's a tad insane, it's possible she actually thinks she controls the weather. But yeah, people don't always have to hear "i'm sorry" to be comforted - you can still be nice just don't overuse the word because then if you say it in a heavy situation people might not take you seriously.

You're kinda letting yourself be a door mat. Try to start realizing that things like these aren't your fault. :D There's a difference between being a great guy and taking the blame for other people's bad actions.

I don't really thing there is a such thing as "being too nice" or being a "goody-two-shoes".

 

Of course, I'm only 13 and sick right now so I can't really explain it.

 

However, there is a difference between really nice and downright [bleep]ing creepy.

Just a quick question, why are you so nice?

The best way I can answer this question is;

"Treat others as you want to be treated."

As far as I know...I dont know anyone that I know personally that dislikes me for who I am or how I act.
