Haaa_Haaa0
I've seen estimates that 99 cooking can be achieved with only a 2-3m loss relatively quickly. I've looked around and the few guides on the forums only have the "old" way with sharks until 99 (after w/e lvl you stop buring them). What is currently the "accepted" way to obtain 99 cooking, how many hours does it take, and is the Rouges den where to train it (or lumbridge at the special range)? And please don't mention wines, I looked into it and dont want to dump about 13m on those. My cooking level is 70, currently. L0rdAki
I have no idea on cost. Since you're 70, you can do lobs w/o burning with cook gaunts. Iirc it's Lobs to Swordy level, Swordies to Monk level, Monks to 94 (then use sharks), Sharks to 95, rocks to 99. Drops: Black Mask.Clue rewards: Sara Plate, 2 Robins, Some other random stuff. L0rdAki
Um, IIRC cooking ends up averaging about 250k-400k an hour, so using the lowest estimate, we get 52 hours from 0. Since you're already basically 1m exp, knock off 4 hours to get 48. Drops: Black Mask.Clue rewards: Sara Plate, 2 Robins, Some other random stuff. crashNburn
Edit: my numbers are apparently really off. Starting sharks at 92 is not a bad idea, you'll probably burn under 100. Interactive dungeoneering floor mapper
L0rdAki
400k must be with wines then...;_; Using 200k exp/hour, it probably works out to be like 50-60 something hours. Yeah, my exp/hour numbers for rocktail were way too low, I've never bothered with them before. Ignore my average. Vulxai
I averaged 1200 fish per hour pretty consistently when I did it, so find out how many fish you need to cook total, and divide by 1200, that'll give you a pretty good estimate. ~ Proud Father ~ Proud (Currently Deployed) Army National Guardsmen ~ Proud Lakota ~ Retired Tip.It Crew ~
Aslan
Wines aren't that bad. They save quite a bit of time.If you were able to make the money back in the time saved I'd advise wines.
Haaa_Haaa0
wow, i love the feedback i got while i was "on vacation" (i got grounded... :( ). thanks you all for the help!I think once summer rolls around i will barrow and farm to earn enough for the wines, then use that. Possibly. Most likely I will burn out and resort to cooking at burthrope while practicing guitar at the same time haha... But anyways, thanks to you all!
