High level [bleep]S thinking they're entitled to stealing worlds

So I'm at the kalphites for my slayer assignment. Not the queen, not the soldiers or guardians, the workers.

 

The workers, the level 28s that are barely populated on ANY world.

 

So I kill a few and get some drops, picking up stuff, whatever.

 

Then a cb 122 comes in and just starts killing the MONSTER I'M ATTACKING. There are at least 5 more all around me, but he attacks THE ONE I'M ATTACKING.

 

So we kill it. I attack another and guess what? Same thing.

 

I *politely* ask him to hop, as I was here first and most worlds are unpopulated. And he just says no u.

 

 

So I ask again, politely, and he says no, to which I respond get the [bleep] out you [bleep]ing [bleep].

 

I was aggravated, and he proceeded to provoke me after.

 

Eventually I had to just hop since he was stealing all the kills. This type of player makes me SO BLEEPING MAD. (gtfo censors)

 

They can just HOP, in 30 seconds, to a new unpopulated world which means better xp for both players. If this was green dragons, I can see that. All worlds are populated and a few players will have to duke it out for the good cash. But KALPHITE WORKERS?!

 

High level players seem to think they're entitled to everything and lower levels are not. I vow never to be like that, and I hope the few of us decent people left can stop this disease from causing frustration and anger 24/7 in RS.

I'm the opposite of what could be considered a high level, but what hes doing is perfectly acceptable, if a little [bleep]y.

 

Maybe he doesnt want to change worlds? If its so easy, why dont you change worlds? Just because you got there first doesnt mean the spot is yours.

Was at spiritual mages, doing a task(136 myself).A 117 logs in(can't call him "noob" can we) and starts going after my mages.I finished the mage I was dealing with then just rested.As soon as he attacked a mage I 2 hit his mage.After he got about~1 mage in 10 tries he hopped.You tell me, what was he trying to do?I find these people more annoying rather than the other way around. You won't get special treatment because you're lower leveled.When you'll be higher leveled you'll do the same like that person you described.Make a rant when you steal other people's kills.

Thats the way RS works, you get killstealed all the time at low levels then when you raise your combat you get to take your revenge on the world. I know damn well everyone who complains about this isn't going to hop worlds if they see a level 70 at kalphites when they reach max combat so not only do I killsteal, I do exactly that, I make little noobs lives miserable.

The same thing happens to my lower level clan mates on occasion. We solve this by sending in most of the captains and generals to form a mass kalphite worker killing spree complete with dwarf cannons. They hop, we leave. Why? Because no one messes with the Funk, and we are extremely territorial of our home world. And because it humors me, which is probably the main reason we do it.

It's not only high levels crashing low levels, i have had twice now in a days time of being crashed by a clearly inferior 138 at nech/fire giants. I really can't understand a guy with yak/whip crashing me with rapier/steel titan. Since they are clearly losing the battle of dps they are the ones losing out on most of the xp, while i can sometimes get even better xp.

Actually it takes 40 seconds to hop world, not 30 as you said.

 

I usually do that when I want a spot for myself and can't be arsed with hopping.

If I was there first, why do I need to hop? It's like if there is a seat at some event and I get there first, some bigger person coming over and pushing me off the chair when there are plenty of other chairs unoccupied and with the same view.

 

I've encountered this in multiple places with multiple people and multiple monsters and combat levels. You know why stereotypes exist? Because extremely often, there IS A BASIS behind it whether you like it or not.

I could swear the workers are actually very populated... the last time I went for a task, they were. Probably mistaken though.

 

Anyway, more on topic: At one point, I would have agreed with you, and I never steal kills unless I need to personally. The fact is, though, you are not entitled to that world just because you were there first. As you said, it takes less than a minute to hop worlds yourself. If anyone crashes me, yes, I will most likely be annoyed, but I just accept it. It's a game and they've worked hard for their skills, so yeah.

Also, please don't generalise. I know it seems to happen often, but the majority of RS players are actually decent and won't do things like that; you just notice those that do more.
