Hajutze
KBD looks really threatning in that concept. Still, whyy did they update dragons when they were one of the best models in game? Trolls, gnomes and dwarves are in dire need of an update while dragon didn't need it <.<They wanted everything in Dungeoneering to be new and shiny and since they didn't add any gnomes, dwarves or trolls in the skill ... (The "new" dragon look is just the one from Dungeoneering so I don't see anything new with it ..). It's normal to have dragons in the dungeons ... have you heard of any game with gnomes in the dungeons ?
stonewall337
The quest was awesome. I actually lol'd a couple times. Though mostly at the Old Man and Zenevivia following each other, and at the thingummywut XDhttp://runescape.wikia.com/wiki/Thingummywut This is interesting. Misterknowitall
How does the KBD look now? The KB article doesn't have the new graphics yet :( The same, I went there last night Aww, he could have been epic :(He will be. They have a sticky up saying the dragon update is a two-parter. They said they delayed the KBD because they are using new technology to update his attack animations to make them cooler. It looks like a Hydra with wings. ladycai
It was decent. I didn't like how I had trouble trying to get the wise old man to tell me he was going to attack the tower with Zene though. The rewards were nice, but I don't think it was as difficult as older quests would be with those rewards. 95/99 Summoning95/99 Slayer [hide=This is what you look like when you play RS too long][/hide]

pulli23
Best quest of this year. Great rewards for magic and construction, good story, good bossfight and awesome cutscenes. :grin:Wow this year really must've sucked so far quest-based.. This quest had potentional, a lot: it's been participated for I don't know how long anymore (I still remember that draynor bank didn't have to be patched though, it's been like 5 years ago). The wise old man really was/is one of the most important people of RS.. And now in a quest of around an hour he simply "retires". Really where are the quests with a lot of length & lots of different stuff.. (the whole old elves storyline, from underground pass till mep2 did everytime bring an amazing new region to runescape).Last quest with a big story & long (non repetitive) time to finish was while guthix sleeps, and to a lesser extend curse of arrav!quest nowadays are: "help I need some help", "wow something unexpected happens", "few funny (I admit the quest WAS amazingly fun) actions", "over".. All finishable in an hour without any prior knowledge! First they came to fishingand I didn't speak out because I wasn't fishing Then they came to the yewsand I didn't speak out because I didn't cut yews Then they came for the oresand I didn't speak out because I didn't collect ores Then they came for meand there was no one left to speak out for me. Lep
For once an update I can't complain about. They could have made pit room better though. Eg. Pit Iron Dragon dances forever if someone stands in the center. The thingummywut got me thinking and I'm betting it'll be a new staff for mages with a sort of meteor special attack. Bombarding opponent with like 5 Earth Surges at once. However, if rsof noobs have their way, it'll actually be released as a creature and involved only in a quest.

Emmentail
I felt like I was being led through the through the quest like a little child. I can't stand this apparent "we won't treat out players like children" philosophy, when in reality they've changed bugger all about quests. Oh i'll just give you 100 house teletabs.. Wtf? There's hardly any call for players to think for themselves with certain quest makers (EW3 is probably the most challenging quest for ages). Even WGS felt like I wasn't really doing much. Just clicking where they told me to.

BeNiceOk
I think the " thingymummywhat" should remain a mystery :P I agree with this. Almost all of the most interesting things in the game (Dragonkin, Elf City, Nomad, ect..) are interesting because they are important and we hardly know anything about them or can't see them. Its the lack of information on something that is epic, that makes them interesting. You can't have the knowledge on it and that makes you want it more. All in all I think it was a very well done quest. The 100 Tabs was a nice reward too. It prevented mas buyouts of the tabs in GE. If we didn't get them it would be "OMG I can't buy tabs in the ge... Jagex failed again... mumble mumble climbing boots." I loved the humor parts, and I enjoyed this quest just as much as My Arms Big Adventure.
