Brett0wnz
Simple question here: I would like 70 range. What is the fastest way to get there? So, what to train on and where. Also, what to wield, specifically:1)c'bow/bow/knives2)what kind of bolts/arrows/knives Thanks! - 86,939th to 99 Woodcutting on July 10, 2010 (CHOPPED EUCALYPTUS TREES) - Achieved 99 Fletching on November 23, 2010 - Achieved 99 Fishing on November 2, 2011 - Achieved 99 Cooking on November 7, 2011
Knight_Zaros
Iron or steel knives would be fine. Just pick a low defense creature that you can get too. Getting to level 70 range isn't to unbearable of a task. Yaks are a very common recommendation for lower level range training or just cheap, low defense creature overall. Could just do easy slayer tasks too and range them all. Like i said level 70 range won't take to long just pick something. I always used range potions to speed it up a little bit too, they're cheap might as well. TDC
I would recomend yaks on neizitnot (level 22 with 500LP) with bronze knives with blue d'hide changing to red when you reach level 60. Add an attractor and amulet of ranging if u want/can afford it and let the levels roll in. The main disadvantage of the yaks is its popularity at peak times it can be dufficult to get the 6ish spawns, Edit: You must have started the Fremennik Isles quest to gain access to the island they're situated on Glacors Drops - 33 shards. Armadyl Drops - 1 Chestplate. 1 Hilt. 2 gloves . 2 Skirts.
Quyneax
It's maybe overkill, but chinning is always an option. Rudyaard
I did 50-70 range with a cannon at the rock crabs... I don't know if it's the most effective way, but at least it worked back then (2-4 years ago, maybe)

ladycai
Just some iron/steel knives or iron/steel arrows with a magic short on some caged/low attack creatures will do, like yaks or ogres. 95/99 Summoning95/99 Slayer [hide=This is what you look like when you play RS too long][/hide]

Brett0wnz
So iron knives at yaks or iron arrows at fire giants seem to be the big two. Anybody think one of these is better than the other? thanks - 86,939th to 99 Woodcutting on July 10, 2010 (CHOPPED EUCALYPTUS TREES) - Achieved 99 Fletching on November 23, 2010 - Achieved 99 Fishing on November 2, 2011 - Achieved 99 Cooking on November 7, 2011
Kimberly
It's maybe overkill, but chinning is always an option. It's an option, surely, but he would not be reaping the best exp he could from such expensive methods. It's generally a bad option until he's at least 80. OP: Iron knives. You'll need the defense against fire giants.

Aslan
Somewhere around 35k xp/hr I'd guess.Try and get about 5k(they're hard to buy in GE), as you can always sell the extra.Use an accumulator to pick them up for you.
