pennywise
BioWare's new MMO.. Anybody excited for it? Anybody in the beta? I'm pretty excited for this game. Game's supposedly slated for a spring '11 release. Personally, I can't wait. Looks quite promising, if Bioware does it right.Trailer:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HBGvAJ6-SsY Some E3 gameplay:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-suP_LKcQcU"The story takes place in the Star Wars fictional universe shortly after the establishment of a tenuous peace between the re-emergent Sith Empire and the Galactic Republic, 300 years after the events of the Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic games and more than 3,500 years before the events in the Star Wars films. The Jedi are held responsible for the success of the Sith and choose to relocate from Coruscant to Tython, where the Jedi order had been initially founded, to seek guidance from the Force. The Sith control Korriban, where they've re-established a Sith Academy. The game begins as new conflicts arise." Opt in for beta:http://swtor.com/tester Eight Bananas, MD. Sam
So is this browser based or is it an application similar to WOW? 2257AD.TUMBLR.COM
Misterknowitall
I'm a huge fan of Star Wars, so I'm keeping an eye on this one.I'm just not sure if my computer will be able to handle the game, though. And it's probably going to be an application. It looks a bit too heavy to be a browser based game.
Nadril
So is this browser based or is it an application similar to WOW? Application. Can't say I'm really excited. I love Bioware but I don't think they have what it takes to make a good MMO.
Guthorm
I am meh on this one, it really looks like WoW on space :/ I mean I am sure the storyline will be awesome, is bloody bioware. But the gameplay video they have released looks pretty mediocre to me. This has nothing to do with me being a Guild Wars 2 fanboy :P [Guild Wars 2-In game screenshot, the MMORPG you are waiting for. tripsis
Does anybody know what the subscription fee will be?My guess would be around $14.99 per month. That's about the standard for these games. - 99 fletching | 99 thieving | 99 construction | 99 herblore | 99 smithing | 99 woodcutting - - 99 runecrafting - 99 prayer - 125 combat - 95 farming - - Blog - DeviantART - Book Reviews & Blog

Goonstalf
Kind of a disappointing Collector's Edition set, especially for that $150 price tag. I'm going to milk Goon's teats
tripsis
The big reason for that price is the statue thing you'd get.. I'd prefer to have a CE set with all the digital items. I don't care about physical stuff. - 99 fletching | 99 thieving | 99 construction | 99 herblore | 99 smithing | 99 woodcutting - - 99 runecrafting - 99 prayer - 125 combat - 95 farming - - Blog - DeviantART - Book Reviews & Blog
Michael
I think the Digital Deluxe has most of the digital items that the CE has.
tripsis
Yeah it does have most. There are 2 items that only the CE gets though :P Exclusive Mouse DroidExclusive Collector's Edition Store The second one sounds like it could be kind of cool. I don't particularly care about the first. - 99 fletching | 99 thieving | 99 construction | 99 herblore | 99 smithing | 99 woodcutting - - 99 runecrafting - 99 prayer - 125 combat - 95 farming - - Blog - DeviantART - Book Reviews & Blog

Goonstalf
I guess I'm just used to CE's having a bit more pizazz, like the Crysis 2 or Infamous 2 CE's. I'm going to milk Goon's teats
