Tip.it not working?

Recommended Posts

If tip.it was down these forums would be down to since they are on same domain etc.

Not true. They run on separate servers and I can remember many instances of one being up while the other was down.

Tip.it is the parent domain. So forum.tip.it can die on its own, but if the parent died so would the child (the forum)

This is not the case. The website server can die on its own and the forum server can die on its own. This has happened before on many occasions.

You just have to be right, don't you?

OT: Try using a different browser. I had issues with Google Chrome loading both the Forums and the main page, while in Firefox I don't.

I was only clarifying what I meant, granted my line of thought wasn't exactly helpful to the thread in retrospect.
