timmmmm83
looks epic, time to get 120 dungeoneering :rolleyes:Time to get 95 dungeoneering for me, that is the lvl for floor 48 and the next one due. Since this is, according to the above calculations, going to at least double xp/hour I'm glad they are updating it now instead of throwing it all at us at once in a few months. I've already waited the entire month and over the course of this time, had an energy drink to stay up the last few times. Inconvenience would be an understatement. Everyonedies
Cut Jagex some slack id love to see you people who have never even seen programming code take a look at how complex something as huge as runescape's code is and then add something to it and have it work well not only graphically but on a whole spectrum of pcs/macs and and other operating systems with various states of upgrades to java. Signed. I've been programming for 80 years and damn is it hard. Jagex is breaking the barrier between impossible and reality by even releasing any working updates at all so we shouldn't really whine when there is a slight delay. Please don't pull out the code argument. Companies deal with this all the time. The reason that Jagex delays updates is because they are concerned for the long-term good of the game and have no one to dictate a schedule. They make their own schedule and priority and that makes them pretty unique - we've seen some great updates here and there but it also means we deal with this. I do wish they would prioritize graphical updates last and not tie them to game content, but elite treasure trails will come out eventually and there is plenty of content to play in the mean time. 2496 Completionist

Low C
Guy's I usually advocate Jagex but damn, they are making a ton of money each year to bring out content for me to play and I haven't been satisfied all year. I really hope they get it together or I might jump ship to that new game coming out. I'll still be giving them my money but it will be a different team of developers working on the content. :wall:

We won't see any immediate benefit of the Z buffering update. Or would we!Perhaps the reason Z buffer was coupled with the TT items was that some of the items used the new Z buffer engine. They did say the buffer was not just for emotes but items being pushed past the current box too. Perhaps the reason they are having so much trouble is some of the items have to be downgraded from Z buffer to the old mechanic which could be quite difficult. Might be a wild theory but it is possible.

Peronix
When people look forward to something and there are this many delays, of course some people are going to be upset, and some may even blame Jagex. Not a whole lot you can do about that. Unerstandable to a degree as well, as we do pay Jagex by the month and delays mean more money is spent maintaining membership in the meantime. It's just amazing to me that you people who claim to be so patient as to not let these delays bother you at all, let the complainers get to you. Can't you just ignore them? magzar
I agree that since we do pay, it would be nice if we didn't have to spend out money to stay a member while waiting out delayed updates. I think Jagex should add kind of an "Away Mode." Basically if you're already paid up for a month, but you won't be playing, whether it's because of school, a vacation, or just waiting for a particular update, then you turn on away mode and your membership time doesn't count down. Obviously this could be abused so it would certainly need some limitations which I haven't really thought much about. I do think it's a good concept. Also from a couple pages back, the reason to play RS in secret if you're in college is so that you have even the slightest chance of getting laid. [hide]Damnit, I tripped over Magzar's half inflated blow-up doll and hurt myself. I wish he wouldn't leave that thing lying around. -.-[/hide]
