What clique/subculture do you think you're classified as?

I worded the question that way because I know a lot of you will say you don't belong to any and that would be boring, so I want to know what you think others perceive you as.

I probably come off as a hardcore because I pretty much only wear old jeans and black band T's with medium unruly hair. And I do most of my walking with a grimace on my face.

PS: Oh and if you really are in a clique, you could add that too. Yeah yeah, stupid thread - I don't know why I'm so interested in cliques today, but hopefully we'll find out soon.

I really can't imagine a cliche I even come close to.

I mean I was a 'jock' in high school and was friends with the 'cool kids', but I studied physics etc. I got into fights but also read philosophy. I box and also have an interest in psychology and body language. I wear button up shirts sometimes, and football shorts others. I spend a lot of time on the computer, but also a lot of time at parties, bars, clubs etc. I'm promiscuous but I'm also introverted and quiet, but also confident sexual and cocky.

No, screw quizzes. It's all about what you see when you look in the mirror and how you think others will interpret that appearance.

I try to dress well and aren't antisocial by any means, but I love video games, psychology, music theory, and engineering, so I'm probably a nerd :P Most people that know me know that those are my interests so that's probably what they see me as.

People say I look angry and I scowl too much. Is there a clique for angry people?

Yes

Closest would be the theater kids. But me and my friends aren't as into it as some of the younger ones are.

My closest friends and I ... That's a toughie. We're all very musical, so there's that. We also do absurd things. We're all very smart, but we also fight each other and randomly join games of basketball, volleyball, whatever.

I'll roll with legends. Or at least difficult to forget.

catch it now so you can like it before it went so mainstream

I've been called a lot of things. Some idiots tend to see my realism as hopeless depression and deem me "emo", which it doesn't help that I also wear all black as a cultural/religious tradition. I use to be the stereotypical snobby rich kid in grammar school, I guess I'm still a preppy rich kid (no longer snobby, but many claim I'm an elitist). I like to think of myself as philanthropic intellectual leader who just so happens to have a ready access to funding. I don't really like to hear people attach my parent's income to what kind of person it makes me.

Interestingly enough I once took a teen subculture/group position quiz a while ago and my result was the straightedge snobby group leader.

I get called emo a lot, even though I don't think I fit into that subculture at all. Some people say I fit into the 'crazy musician' group, which is a much better label, but I try not to label myself.

I think people are just foolish and use that word (emo) very liberally to insult people.

I can definitely see how they could make the connection with me, since I have almost black hair that covers one of my eyes and I never smile, but I'm not emo.

If I had to classify myself I would say I am too busy being myself to fit into a clique. I'm on my own level.

I do mostly, though, get stereotyped as an "indie" kid because of my music style. Back in high school I probably got tagged as more of a nerdy kid but I went to a pretty small school so clique didn't really matter a whole lot, except band and theatre kids usually keep to themselves. Other then that, everyone got along with one another. We basically all grew up with each other so I found it really hard to just hate someone unless they were simply annoying or something.

Prepster.

Probably due to growing up in the suburbs and now living in Ann Arbor for four years. When I'm going out my friends either say I look really preppy or hipster, and I'll often blend the looks wearing skinny selvage jeans with converse/tretorns and a lacoste/j crew polo or button down. But people who know me really well will always call out my inner nerd.

I'd be seen as a zombie more than anything else.

I should be dead at this point, yet I still am alive somehow. I always look deadpanned, can't seem to be happy with anything, etc.

I was going to eat hot dogs for dinner tonight. I think I will settle for cereal.

Yeah, nowadays being called an emo is very similar to being called gay.

I think I figured out why I made this thread. I watched the movie The Warriors recently.

I think I would be classified as a hybrid Industrial Cyber Goth / Metalhead. Its an odd combo, but Metal music does appeal to me quite a bit.
