Deltaer Posted August 13, 2010 Share Posted August 13, 2010 I was thinking about how boring high alching was, but as I desperately need to raise my magic level, I thought of an idea to actually be able to multitask on my computer while high alching. Because I use a laptop to play RS, I have the touch mouse installed on the laptop, and a separate wired mouse plugged in... Does anyone know whether it would be possible to make multiple mouse pointers on my computer, each controlled by different mice simultaneously (i.e. those pointers being able to operate at the same time). I'm sure the software to do this is somewhere out there, and I was wondering if anyone had run into such a thing? I did a quick search and did find some software which allowed you to have more than one mouse functional on a computer, each with a different pointer, BUT only one mouse can have control of the computer at one time... which is not what I want. I want to be able to split my screen in half... one half with the RS window, and the other with whatever else I want to do (e.g. browse the web). One hand would be on the laptop mouse high alching away... allowing me to use my other mouse to browse around... I mean... it would help ease the boredom of high alching! Any input is appreciated. As per a comment on one of the reviews - "works for me, but the two mouses can't move at the same time". :/ The mouses (or mice or whatever) need to be able to function at the same time. Just grab mouse keys, resize the window of rs, start a movie in VLC (important), ALT+TAB to rs, position the cursor over high alch and item. drag the cord out.
