Sesquialtera
So, I tried a few months ago to beat Nomad, and after ...a million... times, got to where I could almost get him down to his final berserker attack. Anyways, I've worked on my melee/magic/ranged/prayer stats since then, and I think I want to try again. The biggest jump in my stats was from 75 to 81 ranged. Any suggestions for a setup at my levels (see sig)? PS: I'm kind of poor. Lol.
DarkerFalz
This was my setup:Equipment:Archer's helm charged with kyatt scrollsGloryKaril's top and bottomSnakeskin bootsBarrows GlovesRune CrossbowZammy BookArcher's ringAva's AccumulatorRuby Bolts (e) Inventory:12 super RestoresKyatt pouch and ~300 Kyatt Scrolls (in the tort)War Tortoise and the rest of my inv fulled with brews (32) I suggest you take a terrorbird with brews, and a few less rests. When he got to his berserker stage, I summoned my kyatt, set the right click option on the summoning bubble thingy to "Special Attack" and jsut spam clicked that, while letting him melee me. I brewed when I needed to, but didn't use any restores during that time. I also prayed sap warrior and sap mage while he was maging me, then when he went berserk, I used sap warrior and deflect melee (not sure it that made a difference or not). If you don't have curses yet, or don't want to use them, I suggest using the protect prayers and eagle eye on him.
PereGrin
I used: Rune CbowRuby (e) bolts NeitzFuryBlack Dhide bodyBlack Dhide LegsSnakeskin BootsZammy BookAva's AccumulatorArcher Ring Inv: 6 Super Restore20 Sara BrewUni Scrolls, Uni Pouch Familiar (Tortoise):5 Super Restores13 Brews. I did run out of Restores, with 11 doses of brew left. If you get a bolt spec after he freezes you, it can Unbrew your hp, so you will die. Be careful of that. I prayed Protect Mage for most of the fight, and Protect melee against his berserker mode. I also trapped him on the pillar to avoid some damage when he went berserk. If you die with barrows armor and it goes to your grave, you have to repair it. So dying like 10 times or more could rack you up like 1.4m in repairs. Just a warning, it is the reason I chose Dhide. The armor you wear doesnt seem to make all that much of a difference anyway. And, welcome to TIF a bit late DarkerFalz. Can't believe I haven't seen you post on here before -.-

Quyneax
For range, you may want to use void deflector + acp. Hegelstad
For range, you may want to use void deflector + acp. I got the deflector two days ago, and i realised black d hide is almost as good as acp :) Mostly because you dont need that few defense points and ranged attack points, for the huge costs My lame drops:6 Effigys1 D Med - 1 D Dagger1 Verac's Helmet - 1 Guthan's Platebody

What about switching to Armadyl chestplate instead of black d'hide top? Or would that be a bad idea? ::Edit:: Oh never mind...someone already suggested that. lol. ACP >> black hide of course, by all means use it. Void deflector is easy to get and quite worth it, as you get a 10% bonus to ranged accuracy and damage, while still using a high-accuracy chestplate (normal void has no ranged attack at all) Supporter of Zaros | Quest Cape owner since 22 may 2010 | No skills below 99 | Total level 2595 | Completionist Cape owner since 17th June 2013 | Suggestions 99 summoning (18th June 2011, previously untrimmed) | 99 farming (14th July 2011) | 99 prayer (8th September 2011) | 99 constitution (10th September 2011) | 99 dungeoneering (15th November 2011) 99 ranged (28th November 2011) | 99 attack, 99 defence, 99 strength (11th December 2011) | 99 slayer (18th December 2011) | 99 magic (22nd December 2011) | 99 construction (16th March 2012) 99 herblore (22nd March 2012) | 99 firemaking (26th March 2012) | 99 cooking (2nd July 2012) | 99 runecrafting (12th March 2012) | 99 crafting (26th August 2012) | 99 agility (19th November 2012) 99 woodcutting (22nd November 2012) | 99 fletching (31st December 2012) | 99 thieving (3rd January 2013) | 99 hunter (11th January 2013) | 99 mining (21st January 2013) | 99 fishing (21st January 2013) 99 smithing (21st January 2013) | 120 dungeoneering (17th June 2013) | 99 divination (24th November 2013) Tormented demon drops: twenty effigies, nine pairs of claws, two dragon armour slices and one elite clue | Dagannoth king drops: two dragon hatchets, two elite clues, one archer ring and one warrior ring Glacor drops: four pairs of ragefire boots, one pair of steadfast boots, six effigies, two hundred lots of Armadyl shards, three elite clues | Nex split: Torva boots | Kalphite King split: off-hand drygore mace 30/30 Shattered Heart statues completed | 16/16 Court Cases completed | 25/25 Choc Chimp Ices delivered | 500/500 Vyrewatch burned | 584/584 tasks completed | 4000/4000 chompies hunted
