Satenza
Hello. I'd quite like to kill Nomad but the guides I see aren't really helpful to me since my summoning level is 1 :) Stats; Attack - 86Strength - 82Defence - 83Hitpoints - 85Range - 76Mage - 84Prayer- 70Summoning - 1 Combat: 105. Any help with inventory, armour and strategy would be appreciated. Cheers! With so many trees in the city you could see the spring coming each day until a night of warm wind would bring it suddenly in one morning. Sometimes the heavy cold rains would beat it back so that it would seem that it would never come and that you were losing a season out of your life. But you knew that there would always be the spring as you knew the river would flow again after it was frozen. When the cold rains kept on and killed the spring, it was as though a young person had died for no reason. In those days though the spring always came finally but it was frightening that it had nearly failed.
Wisky_is_Goo
To be honest, theres no real way to do it with no summoning, a Terrorbird is nearly essential, as well as the use of the Spirit Kyatt.
aspeeder
You're going to have a VERY, VERY, VERY difficult time without a terrorbird/war tort and/or kyatt to help you against Nomad (Especially considering your other stats are sub-par as far as boss-like enemies go). If you want a basic strategy though, basically have the same brew-NORMAL rest ratio as you would have with a BoB, try and get a good BGS spec in at the start of the fight, and use all the methods possible to not lose hp (Ie using the pillars to your full advantage). http://i700.photobucket.com/albums/ww6/aspeeder/Siggy_zpsewaiux2t.png 99 Strength since 6/02/10 99 Attack since 9/19/10 99 Constitution since 10/03/10 99 Defense since 3/14/11 99 Slayer since 8/30/11 99 Summoning since 9/10/11 99 Ranged since 09/18/11 99 Magic since 11/12/11 99 Prayer since 11/15/11 99 Herblore since 3/29/12 99 Firemaking since 5/15/12 99 Smithing since 10/04/12 99 Crafting since 9/16/13 99 Agility since 9/23/13 99 Dungeoneering since 1/1/14 99 Fishing since 2/4/14 99 Mining since 2/28/14 99 Farming since 6/04/14 99 Cooking since 6/11/14 99 Runecrafting since 10/10/14 9 Fletching since 11/11/14 99 Thieving since 11/14/14 99 Woodcutting since 11/20/14 99 Construction since 12/03/14 99 Divination since 2/22/15 99 Hunter since 2/23/15 99 Invention since 01/20/17 99 Archaeology since 5/14/22Quest Point Cape since 08/20/09 Maxed since 2/23/15 Fire Cape since 02/27/13 Slayer: 3 Leaf-Bladed Swords, 8 Black Masks, 2 Hexcrests, 26 Granite Mauls, 5 Focus Sights, 32 Abyssal Whips, 9 Dark Bows, 1 Whip Vine, 3 Staffs of Light, 15 Polypore Sticks Dragon: 9 Draconic Visages, 7 Shield Left Halves, 20 Dragon Boots, 40 Dragon Med Helms, 8 Dragon Platelegs, 6 Dragon Spears, 20 Dragon Daggers, 5 Dragon Plateskirts, 1 Dragon Chainbody, 63 Off-hand Dragon Throwing Axes, 19 Dragon Longswords, 27 Dragon Maces, 1 Dragon Ward Treasure Trails: Saradomin Full Helm, Ranger Boots, Rune Body (t), Saradomin Vambraces, Various God Pages Misc:1 Onyx,1 Ahrim's Hood, 1 Guthan's Chainskirt, 1 Demon Slayer Boots
bigie
way you could probably do it.. but be very tedious is to get outside of the orange mines and do the pillar hide technique... that will save u from taking 750 hp damage each time it does that... but have to be really careful not to step on the orange mines other thing that might work is taking the new biscuits to but it wont be easy to say the least. use ruby bolts till he's charging for 1 under hp att.. then using darts or throwing knives seems to be very effective.. and if ruby bolts activate at this time it would kill u. and use darts/knives to find the real one when he splits. other than that its just going to take probably loads of time/money Don't be in FearBigie is here
glasscube
I think you will have a lot of troubles killing nomad without soul split or summoning. Help drive change Canada
Wisky_is_Goo
Cant use Ruby (e) bc he doesnt have enough healing power due to lack of brews in a BoB. So diamond (e)'s the whole time, make sure to hide when he goes into mirror mode, avoid the 750 hit, and good luck lol
Toad
I had a little thought about this, it'd require a stroke of luck and a little bit of genious to get you there, but I'd say given the circumstances it'd be possible. If you have the money you might want to buy a statius warhammer to lower his defence, each hit it lowers by 30% (if you hit a 1+) that would really help, you get 2 specs a bar (35% per spec) Alternatively you could hope for a good Bandos Godsword spec (reduces defence depending on your hit and consumes 100% of spec bar but it's a cheaper method). You'd definitely need to range and hide behind pillar to reduce damage, one fail to do so could be costly without a BOB. for speccing with no bob you'd really have to pot at bank and leave the pots behind and take more brews, perhaps look into getting a chaotic crossbow from dungeoneering as it's +120 ranged (+30 better than rune) accuracy would be everything in this case ;) although if his defense is low enoug you could kill him with a spork! Satenza
I think I'll give it a go today using the pillar method and see how far I get, then I can see if it is at least possible! I did see a video with a guy using a BoB to carry brews but in the end he didn't require the additional ones. That was using the pillar method. Thanks for all the advice, I might look into the BGS special at the start too. Anymore tips would be appreciated and I'll let you know how I get on! Saunamajuri
Without a terrorbird, my supplies would had ended sooner than Nomad would had died and I killed Nomad from the berserker stage almost entirely with spirit kyatt ambush scrolls. Bgs special at the start is good and protect from melee + piety makes you almost invulnerable at the berserker stage. You have better stats than I do so it shouldnt be a problem. Good luck, I had to try 12 times before succeeding. "An Amateur practices until he can get it right. A Professional practices until he can't get it wrong." Quests just keep bringing me back to this game.
Quyneax
You'll have a harder time than others but you can do it. Having said that I recommend you get overload or 90 range. Having that little marigin to make smaller mistakes is a HUGE help. Satenza
I suppose some of it shall be a little luck! On an unrelated note I saw Whiskey_Is_Goo in Canfis today. Must agree with the name if the "Goo" actually means "Good". With so many trees in the city you could see the spring coming each day until a night of warm wind would bring it suddenly in one morning. schmuall
Any particular reason why you're handicapping your account in this way? I wish you the best of luck, but really, why no summoning? give F2P a penny and they want a dime; give P2P a quarter, they want 100,000 dollars, your car, house, boat, social security number, credit card numbers, drivers license, clothes on your back and everything you ever owned or interacted with ever
