Your Unique Talents

TTanT

Recommended Posts

I've found out recently that I'm able to put work off (school work, such as homework or classwork) and do it last minute; turning out A+ material. Last minute meaning I do the assignment the night before it's due even though we've had three weeks or what have you. I think it's kind of cool. ;)

I can do the exact same thing, except not A+ material :-P

And btw, that woman speaking at 300 p/m is insane, what's the point when no one can understand you? Does she speak into a microphone that automatically slows her words down so others can understand her? that'd actually be pretty sweet i think.

I can peel and chop an onion really fast. Such a skill is incredibly useful if you are in college.

Even more useful if you're a chef.

Reminds me of my parents, as incredible knife skills are required for a Chinese restaurant. They can literally can dice an onion within 20 seconds >.>

Technically you can't break 200wpm on a Qwerty keyboard, but this is some of the fastest typing speeds that you will ever see;

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4GDusA21cEA

That's only 163wpm mind you, which is average for that guy. He peaks at 230wpm

Back on topic; I don't have that many talents, but I can moonwalk pretty good in the supermarket (if you call that a talent lol)

I can type 120WMP,peaking at 150ish, but that guy made me [bleep] in my pants! :ugeek: He is like a pornstar to nerds.

I can flip 6 burgers a second at my max speed at McDonalds when we use the flat grills. Most of the time they use clam mode. We only use flat mode when we get buses or large crowds and need to cook more than 12 pieces of regular meat at a time. As a manager I can do over 54 piece of reg on one grill using flat mode when the crew can only use clam mode and do 12 :D.

I doubt that more than a handful of people in the world have talents that are actually unique.

As for me, I can get into an argument about anything.

That's really good.

I tried to do it once, and I have to say it turned out pretty horribly. Looking back, it sounds a bit funny though, since it involved a huge amount of swearing, and managing to stab myself in the eye with the plastic tool (needle?).

skeptical ~ yeah you use a needle :-) Although all the ones I have ever been given with my kits or bought have been metal, the plastic ones I suppose depend on how old you were while doing it lol.

I did some in primary school so when I was around 6 or 7 and then didn't do any more until I was around 19 or 20 when I was complaining to mum that I was bored all the time so she bought me some starter kits to shut me up, and been doing them ever since, I have about 10 kits waiting to be done, however I will be taking a year off work as of April next year when I have my baby so any spare time, when not keeping the baby entertained will be cross stitching lol.

I can throw small candies really high in the air and catch them in my mouth. Not super impressive but its fun to do when I'm slightly drunk.

Ooooh cross stitch! I got into it when I was young since my mum and grandma did it. I still have a crap load of thread and needles hanging around but I've never really completed anything properly. I don't have the patience for it tbh. It can be enjoyable though (when you're doing it right!)

I don't remember if I posted this or not.

But I can pop both of my wrists on command. And it's loud too.

I can just do it over and over and over and over.

It's probably not good for them though.

You can pop your wrists? Could you elaborate on that, or perhaps, show us how you do it? A youtube video would be nice..

It's kind of like that but not exactly. I don't grind it like.

Where that guy rolls it around I just do a quick motion back or up and it makes a popping sound.

Like popping knuckles. Louder than that video too.

I can do that with my left wrist. Some people are so disgusted by it, it is so amusing. I do it when people are cracking their knuckles until they notice, funny every time.

Is that abnormal? I'm only asking as it's normal for me lol. I've been doing that for about 6 years (when I last broke my arm) and sometimes it even helps my wrist feel better.

I can also make a bone in my arm pop like that, except it doesn't make a sound. It just slightly moves back out.

Well, I've never seen another person, in real life. Who could do it on command and really loudly.

Ive never broke my arm either. Or majorly injured either of my wrists.

Photographic memory. I can look at a sign or a few words such as a fast food menu without actually registering it, and then read it later.

I also tend to notice pretty much everything. When sitting at a bus stop I'll notice things like a person's shoes, socks, skin, eyes, glasses, bag, contents of bag(s), earphones/earphone colour, clothes, hair, and pretty much analyze everyone I see. I also do this with inanimate objects and vehicles. The seats on a bus, for example. The patterns, colours of patterns, distance between patterns and number of patterns. I remember everything in vivid detail and will likely remember small insignificant details if I were asked about it later (e.g. what colour shoes was the woman on your right wearing in front of the hospital on Friday? Well, I remember this. It's purple. Purple Nikes. The man sitting on your left? He was wearing a faded-green sandals, a green chequered jacket over a plain grey singlet and faded blue shorts.)

I can type at around 90 WPM (highest 97WPM).

When arguing with someone, I never raise my voice, swear or say anything without thinking about it first. This annoys a lot of people, who think I don't care because I appear so calm. In fact, I haven't raised my voice in anger for literally years now.
