Blutters
Right so I'd like to get to 91 Herblore from 67 but I don't trust myself for [cabbage] to figure it out.I've got about 130m to spend (almost cleaning me out, but I feel it may be worthwhile...) but I don't make money consistently or even on a daily basis, so I really DON'T want to screw this up.Seriously, please, down to the fine lines, I trust someone who's done it already far more than my own judgement on this rather delicate occasion. manitstinks
Make some more money first. It feels awful having a 50k bank while you can't even make a good amount of extremes for ovls.
Low C
When I did it I went with the opinion of not wanting [cabbage]ty potions like 5k spec restores. I would go with the best gp/xp potion up until 82 when you can make spec restores "only" until 84 using greenmans ale. If you find you don't want that many restores then at 83 start super antifires which are very useful but sort of annoying to get the 2nds for. I would make those two potions till 85-86 at that point you will want to start doing extreme sets. It takes a little bit of planning but I was able to make about 1500 extreme sets till 91 at that point I stewed overloads. Those got me to 92-93 and I believe that would be the best way to go if you don't mind the hassle of boosting and spending a little extra for something that is actually useful. I know i use extremes and overloads quite a bit, slaying I use the extreme sets and for bossing I've used about 60 of my overloads. Edit: I agree with nman for the fact you'll need more money. I think I spent 160m from 75-93. Edited September 14, 2010 by Lowc15
Levon_
Ideally, the best thing to do would be: Cheapest gp/xp potion to 79.Special restores from 79-81 (1971) (12,425,184 gp)Super anti-fires from 81-83 (2288) (13,515,216 gp)Extreme attack from 83-84 (1265) (8,479,295 gp)Extreme strength 84-85 (1336) (13,357,328 gp)Extreme defence from 85-86 (1414) (16,002,238 gp)Extreme magic from 86-87 (1499) (11,912,553 gp)Extreme range from 87-88 (1591) (19,009,268 gp) From there 1335 extreme attack (8,415,840 gp)1164 extreme strength (11,637,672 gp)1086 extreme defence (12,290,262 gp)1001 extreme magic (7,954,947 gp)909 extreme range (10,860,732 gp) This will give you 2500 of each extreme potion, leaving you 110,405 xp from 91. Do whatever you want for that xp, then make some overloads :) Total cost a total of 153,548,178 for level 91 ASWELL as 2500 extreme sets and about 2k special restores and super anti-fires. You will be set for life for potions, and the only other cost is torstols for overloads. It may seem tedious, but it is totally worth it Lots of stewing;D It's great you know what you're talking about rustiod. Everything you've said is 100% accurate a true. That being said...your a [bleep]ing [bleep] douchebag, and none of your advice will ever (or should ever) be taken seriously because of it.disregard good advice because the giver is a douche THAT MAKES YOU A BETTER PERSON
Low C
Thats basically what I did, but you can't underestimate the cost of torstols. I planned on doing 750 more overloads until I realized that would totally break me so I'm waiting until I have a nice cash pile and good armour since I already have 500 (4) overloads which is plenty for now. Sinkhan
If you're not in a huge rush to specifically get 91, get to 89/90 and stock up on a ton of greenman ales by buying from shops and brewing your own. Then for those last two levels just do herblore effigy assists  Something to fill my sig with until I find a replacement. Also check out my blug
muggiwhplar
I'm not sure if the prices are the same as they were yesterday/a couple of days ago, but cleaning herbs is over 100k xp/hour and 4M profit/hour currently, assuming you can get rid of all the cleaned herbs within a day. I just move the pointer with my wireless external mouse, and click with my laptop mouse button. it's impossible to accidentally drag that way, and you aren't clicking and moving with the same hand, thus preventing any injuries or fatigue. I can easily clean about 8.5k herbs/hour that way.

Low C
Just seemed like my touchpad wasn't picking up all my clicks and I was missing a lot of herbs as I went across. I don't have to worry about it now though got my herb high enough.

TheAncient
Another option while using Muggi's method is to use mousekeys and use either "5" or "+" instead of the separate mouse button. I find that it's a lot easier to press keyboard keys than the mouse key. Ever wanted to find street prices of RS items? Crafter60
Well, if you want to go as fast as possible, go with extremes and ovls etc... But you could also do super energies (just a bit ovet 20gp/exp) and continue with rec. specials. (if you have the super energies ready, you'll be doing like 22gp/xp). Both of these potions offer great exp/hour, but are also relatively cheap (other extremes can go over 30 or 40gp/xp.) And do not under-estimate the usability of rec. specials! Mixed with an extreme set they are ideal for fast slayer, bosses and much more! You need around 15k super energies for 82. And if you use the super energies for recovery specials, you'll have 90 herb with 441k from 91, and in this method you'll be buying vials, herbs, and both 2nds, fungis and papyas. Making the unfs yourslef will take a few days, and is definetly worth it. After this you can go run around, and get money for those extremes and ovls, you're not even half way yet! :D Estimated cost is 122,92m

That's certainly a viable option, but personally I like the idea presented earlier about "being set for life" for potions... And also, I have no good spec weapon at the moment, lol. I may consider some hybrid of the two plans...
