Skull
My nihilism motivates me.Aye. Just keep marching along towards death. Why? Death is just as meaningless as life. No reason to live. No reason to die.Nothing to do but keep moving forwards until one blends into the other. i_trollz_u
My nihilism motivates me. ok mr. Philosopher warrior of all that is immolated. I am motivated by the ability to change. What's the point in change? You're gonna die anyway. What's the point in asking him? You're just gonna die eventually. Why not ask him? I'm going to die eventually. Zygimantas
We are naturally motivated to do stuff. If not then none of us would do anything and we would all die almost as soon as we are born and our race would never have survived in the first place :P 99 Hunter - November 1st, 200899 Cooking -July 22nd, 200999 Firemaking - July 29th, 201099 Fletching - December 30th, 2010
Dizzle229
My goal in life is to have fun, find more ways to have fun, and meet more people to have fun with. Nothing else matters to me. Get back here so I can rub your butt.
Dupin
This question doesn't really apply to me, as I'm not motivated and I don't do anything. But I guess if I have to give an answer, I would say I read books and TIF because they interest me, I got the Gershwin CD I'm listening to right now because I wanted to listen to it, and I searched the basement for sheet music because I wanted to get back into piano. So...I am motivated to do random things by my random interest in them? Like Dizzle said, I want to enjoy life.

Alg
Never really thought about it. Self improvement? Feeding my pride? Sating whatever personal interest is controlling me at the time? I read TIF because I can learn from it. I read whatever books and play whatever games I'm buried in to explore fantasy. I take classes because they'll further my goals. Giordano
To make money and a damn good chunk of it. Which indirectly leads me to my second motivation: not to waste the sacrifices and work of my family. Blake
I'm studying engineering in college, and I want to make something that will be useful, or help in some way. Other than that, my biggest motivation/life goal is shown below in my sig  After I get it (which I will), I have no idea what I will do, besides drive all day. Work for gas money I guess
Makaaveli
Well, when times can be difficult, I just remind myself that somewhere out there, some people always have it 100x worst and if they can deal with it, why can't I. ... It's not really a motivation to do something, but it lifts me up all the time. BlasphemyWe choose to go...not because [it is] easy, but because [it is] hard, because that goal will serve to measure and organize the best of our energies and skills, because that challenge is one that we are willing to accept, one we are unwilling to postpone, and one which we intend to win. ~ Blasphemien Way "Rest In Peace, Muelmar - A True Modern Day Hero"
aeternitatis
My motivation to do good in HS is how great I'm expecting college to be. I'm pumped to take english lit classes and actually be able to discuss things with other students who share my interests instead of being crammed in "necessary" classes with 20 people whom I hate more than anything and 2-3 that I like. unkn0wnwarrior
My motivation in work is the allure of full-time and it's $18+ an hour. Outside of work, my motivation is kind of defeated by my love of sleep... ie, I sleep through a lot of it.
