I've read it, it's very very good just like all of his work.

I've heard as much. I've also read The Brothers Karamazov and Crime and Punishment. I enjoyed C&P more though.

Moving on to Requiem by Lauren Oliver. I loved the first book but wasn't crazy about the second book. Hopefully the third is better.

Still a few months to go (released March 5th, I think) - I'm reading an advanced readers copy. :)

Five Little Pigs. A detective story by Agatha Christie. Bit of an oldie. I do enjoy detective stories though.

I love Agatha Christie. I read her books all the time as a kid. I even hoped to meet her one day, then I found out she died the year before I was born.

Check out my blog to read the Adventures of a Big Damn (F2P) Hero.

So, Kaida is the real version of every fictional science-badass? That explains a lot, actually...

I think my Mom has every book she ever wrote. She also has at least most of Tom Clancy.

I got the "A Song of Ice and Fire" box from Amazon. I'm halfway "A Game of Thrones" now, I'm guessing the next 6 books will keep me busy for a while. I'm loving it, but I've seen the series and seeing its loyalty to the books, I can't wait to move on to the new stuff in the next books.

It ended up being 'pretty good' for me. The ending was a little disappointing, I thought. The love triangle does get wrapped up, but only in about one page at the very end, so it's not that satisfying and is still a little open ended. On the last page, I kind of thought, "It's over? What happens now?"

But it's still a pretty good book.

Now I'm reading Revolution 19 by Gregg Rosenblum. And thank god I'm almost done with it because it's pretty shit. But apparently the guy who worked on 24 and the guy who directed Final Destination are making a movie to go along with the book. I wonder if the movie will be any better.

Recently finished Mishima Yukio's The Sailor who Fell from Grace with the Sea. I'd recommend it to anyone, regardless of their tastes, because though short it's an incredibly powerful, striking book. Also read Donald Keene's autobiography - I was glad to know a little better the man whose translations and books I have enjoyed for so long. I'll probably read Reinhold Niebuhr's The Irony of American History next.

Got the first book of David Weber's Safehold series, Off Armageddon Reef, from a friend and I can't put it down. Bought books 1-5 on Friday and over the weekend I've read books 2-4 and just starting 5 this morning. They're all 700-1000 pages long though so my sleep debt is rising considerably but its worth every hour.

edit finished 5 today and craving 6 now but have to wait till next week  and gonna have to wait till september for book 7.

Having found free time, I've gotten around to reading The Hobbit, and now I'm on to the LOTR trilogy. Maybe I'll appreciate the movies (and my LEGO sets) better after I read the books...

Need to set a new reading challenge for 2013 on Goodreads.

Not sure of how many books to go for. :<

Almost finished reading The Hobbit, and then on to something different I guess.

Last Wheel of Time came out yesterday...even though my brother bought it and I'll get it after him (though that could be a few weeks depending on when I see him next) I'm seriously considering buying it just to be able to read it NOW :P
