lordkafei
Found one of these today in my Runescape directory. I was ranging black dragons at the time, and recall a severe disconnection event ("Connection Lost"), though my Internet connection itself did not fail and game play resumed nearly a minute later.I can't say whether the disconnection caused the dump or whether it was vice-versa. This is the latest version of Java, installed last night. It's also an old version of the client (Product Version 1.0.0.2) The problematic frame points to mshtml.dll; the version I have is 8.00.6001.18975 (longhorn_ie8_gdr.100907-1700) Sent the header to Jagex in a bug report. Curious to know whether anyone else is getting dump files at present. Contents of the dump file, for the curious: ========== ## A fatal error has been detected by the Java Runtime Environment:## EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION (0xc0000005) at pc=0x3d0e9851, pid=1572, Dax
I used to get these all the time when I played RuneScape, then it died off, and now it's back with my recent Minecraft obsession. I don't know how to stop it, but I'ma watch this topic and see what's up. #KERR2016/17/18/19/20/21. #rpgformod

Karvinen
try reinstalling java or restarting your computer. Also, you can try deleting your .conf files from jagex.Somehow I doubt reinstalling Java would fix this, since "The crash happened outside the Java Virtual Machine in native code.". Go to the downloads section of runescape and download&install the client. At least on my computer, it won't load mshtml.dll.

Orpheus
I thought troubleshooting was a hobby or arcade game or something. I leave this forum disappointed. You aren't very well-informed, are you? I'd still try to reinstall java or restart your computer. These occassionally crop up for me when I play Minecraft, but they're harmless. They're just output logs for when errors pop up. I was going to eat hot dogs for dinner tonight. I think I will settle for cereal. OPEN WIDE HERE COMES THE HELICOPTER.
