Aight, i said i would do a new/semi new section of Dungeoneering, the game we loved so much. It's been close to a year. I have some propositions to make before we start this..

A mini class system: You get better exp, but suffer from prejudices, fears, and limitations on what you can practise. (Ergo, a Holy mage can't practise necromancey, and cannot work with Necromancers.) They will get bonuses however of a logical sort. (Necromancers get mega bonuses at night against Holy armies/peoples, and Holy peoples/armies gain megabonuses during day stoof against NEcromancers. very very small bonuses given during day and night scenarios against other factions/peoples/thingies.) This does not mean the "Start from scratch" thing is elminated, tis just a n option.

Maybe more stoof with suggestions.

I would be interested in joining this (I haven't been as active for various reasons [chiefly coursework and a lowkey sports team]) I would most likely end up pulling up a muscle mage some sort of artificer (person who creates magical items for later use)

Remember, you can start from scratch and do a lot of mixing, but if you do chose the extera levels than you can't mix oposites well, or at all. You get at most 5 extra skill points if you chose a class, and the traditional 1 if you start from scratch.

It depends on what the situations are. if you go.. Void mage for example, an excessivley powerfull class, you would get only one exetera level. if you went with pyroomancey, then you would get all 5, scince that is a relativley easier form of magic.

How about White Magick and Greatsword fighting skills (Plate armor) What would those be measured as?

Iey: That would net you 3 extra points.

Mather: Those are all conflicting with eachother. (Biases suck, don'tcha think?) You can take either the first two or the second two and get a point for each.

How are those conflicting? You use force to mine rocks from which you then can extract metals or quartz to use in electric circuits.

So, I'm assuming from having 3 points extra that I currently have 1 point in both White Magick and Greatswords? Which would allow me to select up to 3 other skills to put points in? (assuming I put 1 point per trait)

What's the call on the artificer (item creator) class? What I was thinking is that before (or in) a battle instead of say casting a fireball I could create a wand of fireballs that would give me x casts of the spell (I could also do that with a wand of animated dead) as well as possible boosting items as well.

I would assume something like that would be a unique skill, in where you would most likely have to spend points in sub branches of the skill in order to have multiple conjure types? Just my thoughts on the matter, no idea what earth thinks. lol

... Archi, This is not D&D, but the skills are good.. Oh fine, whatever. but the sickle doesn't do anything other than be a sickle that can kill things.

MAther: Force is a way of propelling and powering bojects through the energy, Electricity does the same thing, but in a diferent way. the two can't be sued in tandem because of the horrible disasters that could ensue, and the two factions are too stuborn to lower thier magical output to coexist.

Iey: You start out in zero points in either skill, and three points to work with. (sorry for not making that clear.)

Ross: Necromancer spearman? err, 2 skill points, necromancey is hard as [bleep] to train.

Grim: Possible, but that means you can either get two points in that, or one point in that and with a weapon. IT's hard to train, like necromancey and Void.

Psht, that is annoying.

Ok, I trade the magic Sickle for the Recipe to explosives.

small explisoves, arch.

Ross, it's hard to train in your hometown/fort/swamp/plaincity/whatever. out in the field, it will take less effort to train it.

Grim, sure, but you need to choose a specific weapon then. And you start.. er.. i have no idea yet. i still have to work on some stoof for it.

Can i get a post from each player who wants to do this, along with the class you want to take? (or if you are starting from scratch.) You can have skills, but don't go D&D on the weaponry and the skills. For the love of god please don't. It'll make this a bit harder. (List class, skills, levels, and the weapon of choice. i'll let you know if you need modifications.)
