The complexity level. C1s generally mean doing the lower floors on complexity setting 1 so that you can quickly rush through them as they give small amounts of exp and are not worth wasting too much time doing with higher complexity settings.

Also what this means is that all the skill doors are removed and only combat can be used, this generally also makes the dungeons smaller as there are less rooms to choose from when loading a dungeon, essentially making most dungeons <8 rooms on average. Combat equipment is provided to you and only food is dropped by monsters.

 

All in all, results in faster dungeons for marginaly less exp on the lower floors. (check Grimy's Spreadsheets topic in the Archieve of Wisdom in the dungeoneering section to see which floors you should stop c1'ing at)

alright i read a guide and the explained to me that Complexity 1, Small, and 5:1 (C1s).

but what does the 5:1 mean?

alright i read a guide and the explained to me that Complexity 1, Small, and 5:1 (C1s).

but what does the 5:1 mean?

 

When you start a floor with more than 1 person, it asks how many people you would like the dungeon to be geared to.

 

5 is the number of players actually clearing, 1 is the setting. (5:1 = 5 people are doing a dungeon meant for 1 person)

 

This is again going back to the clear low dungeons as quick as possible to get to the good high level floors.

Complexity levels 1 - 6.

 

Complexity 1: - 50%, Complexity 2: -45%, Complexity 3: -40%, Complexity 4: -35%, Complexity 5: -30%, and Complexity 6: -0%.

 

In Complexity 1, you've got the basic skills such as magic, ranged, and melee. Your basic armour and weapons are given to you.

 

Complexity 2: Cooking, Firemaking, Fishing, Woodcutting are added to the other previous skills and your armour and weapons are also given to you.

 

Complexity 3: Mining, Smithing, and Runecrafting is added. Your armour is provided still, but not the weapons (reason why Smithing is added).

 

Complexity 4: Now we start seeing basic members skills such as Farming and Hunter. In this complexity level, you no longer have either weapons or armour provided.

 

Complexity 5: ALL member skills are available to you.

 

Complexity: There is no more XP penalty. You'll see a lot more puzzles here.
