ultimatballr
How do I unlock the Brimhaven Spirit Tree??.. I wasn't even aware there was one. I was reading in an AoW Farming Guide that the best way to get to Brim was a spirit tree. Do I have to plant my own spirit tree there and then I can teleport like that? Apparently, my signature was to big.
green9090
There's a spirit tree patch there, you have to grow your own. It takes 83 farming and an (untradable) spirit tree seed. Sinkhan
I personally have my tree in Port Sarim. It's there not because I need access to it from the tree network, but so I can access the tree network from there :shades: But anyway, chipped teletabs are equivalent to the brimhaven spirit tree. Something to fill my sig with until I find a replacement. Also check out my blug

Mobilizing armies teleport, either the spell or the dueling ring teleport, takes you literally directly next to a spirit tree. I agree that the Brimhaven tree is somewhat outdated now, but I'd still argue that there's no better place to put it. I agree that the Brimhaven tree is somewhat outdated now, but I'd still argue that there's no better place to put it. Because while I might not always have a dueling ring or some runes on me, I pretty much ALWAYS have my lummy ring. I use my lyre for getting to misc, so that tree is also useless to me. Given all the options, I liked the marginal convenience of the port sarim tree the most. It's quite sad how useless all the spirit trees really are, given that they have such a high requirement and a relatively rare seed. They really need to update their locations/add other benefits. aspeeder
The Lumby Ring (3 or 4) also replaces the need for a spirit tree there as well with the cabbage teleport, though as mentioned if you do plant on there then you get a free teleport close to the tree network including the ge. http://i700.photobucket.com/albums/ww6/aspeeder/Siggy_zpsewaiux2t.png 99 Strength since 6/02/10 99 Attack since 9/19/10 99 Constitution since 10/03/10 99 Defense since 3/14/11 99 Slayer since 8/30/11 99 Summoning since 9/10/11 99 Ranged since 09/18/11 99 Magic since 11/12/11 99 Prayer since 11/15/11 99 Herblore since 3/29/12 99 Firemaking since 5/15/12 99 Smithing since 10/04/12 99 Crafting since 9/16/13 99 Agility since 9/23/13 99 Dungeoneering since 1/1/14 99 Fishing since 2/4/14 99 Mining since 2/28/14 99 Farming since 6/04/14 99 Cooking since 6/11/14 99 Runecrafting since 10/10/14 9 Fletching since 11/11/14 99 Thieving since 11/14/14 99 Woodcutting since 11/20/14 99 Construction since 12/03/14 99 Divination since 2/22/15 99 Hunter since 2/23/15 99 Invention since 01/20/17 99 Archaeology since 5/14/22Quest Point Cape since 08/20/09 Maxed since 2/23/15 Fire Cape since 02/27/13 Slayer: 3 Leaf-Bladed Swords, 8 Black Masks, 2 Hexcrests, 26 Granite Mauls, 5 Focus Sights, 32 Abyssal Whips, 9 Dark Bows, 1 Whip Vine, 3 Staffs of Light, 15 Polypore Sticks Dragon: 9 Draconic Visages, 7 Shield Left Halves, 20 Dragon Boots, 40 Dragon Med Helms, 8 Dragon Platelegs, 6 Dragon Spears, 20 Dragon Daggers, 5 Dragon Plateskirts, 1 Dragon Chainbody, 63 Off-hand Dragon Throwing Axes, 19 Dragon Longswords, 27 Dragon Maces, 1 Dragon Ward Treasure Trails: Saradomin Full Helm, Ranger Boots, Rune Body (t), Saradomin Vambraces, Various God Pages Misc:1 Onyx,1 Ahrim's Hood, 1 Guthan's Chainskirt, 1 Demon Slayer Boots

We're talking about the best place to put the growable spirit tree, the GE one is there regardless. Quyneax
Chipped tabs are faster than the tree I think, but not by much, and they require space and are 1k each. Your choice. Yeah, tele to Ardougne, and take the ship to Brimhaven from there. Also, to which planted tree is best.. The Eceteria one is the best imo, as it's the easiest way to manage your kingdom. Brimhaven and Port Sarim has nearly as good options (Ardougne -> boat/Cabbage teleport). Going to the GE means I have to have a law, fire, and 3 airs. If I want to do a quick bank and I'm stuck without runes, charged, glory, or other teleport means, I have the tree + lummy ring. gremmy
Guess it's a matter of how you play, but I know that I and a lot of my friends often hang at the GE, after doing something like a slayer task, a mhing trip, a 99 party (inb4flame) or w/e, so it's close to where I'd be anyway - seems like a more convenient place imo. In the end it really is. I agree that the GE tree is convenient if you're always there anyway, but in the end I'm trying to say that despite the difficulty in getting a self grown tree, all of the benefits for each tree are just so marginal. For the etcetera tree, the fairy rings bring you there anyway for Kingdom maintenance. (although I'll admit for bush runs it's a lot more convenient). Then you'll always have a ring of duelling, which is way better than always having an explorer's ring. Norriie
Or you could just do like myself and eagerly await 83 farming to cash in your 56 spirit seeds and over a million free expThis ^ But if you think about it, all the growable-tree locations are kind of outdated by now.Miscellania/etceteria tree: Can use fairy rings, or the miscellania tele scrolls (I use them, they're perfect for MTK).Port sarim tree: Cabbageport.Brimhaven tree: Chipped teletabs, or house teleport if you have your house located there. And keep in mind that in order to use one of the trees, you have to first go somewhere that gives you access to the spirit tree network. So all of the above listed methods are faster, due to being direct teleports (with the exception of the fairy rings). All in all it's kind of a moot point, so it's down to personal preference. I have no use for any of them, but I'm definitely going to use all my seeds for a pile of exp when I can plant them.
