I remember getting tricked into picking up a Zammorak wine (he told me it would teleport me to Lumbridge) and getting wasted by the monks there.

Also, having regular buyers and sellers of different items. Still have some on my friend list who def don't play anymore. No GE for quick sells and purchases meant having to build personal business connections, or failing that, spamming in W2 Falador East bank or Varrock West bank (bonus points for using colors and text effects).

Or when santas were like under 5 mil (and I was too lazy to get that much cash T.T)

Anymore remember the glitch that would auto equip whatever armor you had in your first couple inventory slots when you logged into RS2 beta and you'd see lvl 3s running around in full rune. That one just popped randomly into my head.

I remember when the top three players finally were able to obtain Abyssal whips and everyone complained they were just strings of sausages. 25M GP or so.

Barrows got released not too long after. Being worth 30M per set and whatnot.

I can remember my method for money making when first started playing lol, picking up the chaos runes in dark warriors fortress all day. No revs =P, but risk of getting pk'ed made it fun. was back in 2007, all seemed new to me at that time.

I remember the leaf-bladed spear scam and how Jagex updated it the day I got my first ever Guthans Spear at Barrows. The price of it goes up from like 4.5M to 6M and I, who had just broke the 1M mark thanks to Barrows (I was a historically poor nub), could afford 70 prayer for those shiny new family crests for Construction. Piety came out later and I was like "Sweet!".

I remember than double skirt scam where the seller puts 2 v skirts instead of one, replacing the more expensive part of the set.

Fell for it once. It's hard to tell since the colors blend together so perfectly.

[spoiler=Other Quotes]tbh idk why this makes me laugh so hard

All DFS threads turn into efficiency flame wars >.>

>OP asks "why use DFS?"

>everyone says "there is no reason"

>someone says "stop bashing people who use DFS, efficiency troll ass clown"

>thread is now a flame fest
