Range_This11
BEHOLD. THE GREAT IGLOO OF 2010. (With not so great cellphone pictures) A little deceptive, this goes in about 15 feet. Comfortably seats 10+ Side angle with the house for scale. Home sweet home! We made a base of about half that size with shovels and then snowblowed about half of my yard directly on the pile (notice the boulevard snow piles, one is significantly smaller haha). Then we let it freeze overnight and hollowed it out the next day. The large stick you see in the top of the igloo was so when we hollowed it out, we had a reference point as to not dig too far. "He could climb to it, if he climbed alone, and once there he could suck on the pap of life, gulp down the incomparable milk of wonder."

WoodenFruit
I'd be more scared it would cave in :ohnoes: One of the views where I go on my walks, up one of the lanes there was a car stuck and half buried in snow, it looked comical but didn't take a picture of it. You can *just* about see smelly England right at the back [hide] [/hide] ______________

Shovelmeface
It was colder in Belfast last night than it was in Moscow! Coldest December in Northern Ireland from records began and the worst snowfall in 25 years. To make things worse my water pipes to my heating boiler froze during the night and it took 5 hours tonight after work to rectify the situation. Currently -11 and its supposed to drop to -20 later tonight...... 99 Attack - Done
Riku3220
So it's officialy the beginning of Winter and it was in the 70s all day today. God damn this is going to be a hell of a Summer next year...
Zierro
I'm very sensitive when it comes to temperature, so I hate going outside during winter and summer. I just feel thoroughly uncomfortable when I'm too hot or too cold and it's the only thing I'll have on my mind. Aside from the temperature, I think snow looks pretty cool when it's soft and white. Nadril
I can't stand heat, but cold I'm fine with. Opposite here. Part of it is it is always windy where I live. The wind on a summer day is a nice cool breeze, the wind on a winter day? Cold death.

Sbrideau
Here it's still raining, looks like our chances of a white christmas are gone. The first ever time that there's no snow on christmas where I live. Also beating rain records of over 100 years.

H2PM
Huuuge blizzard coming up the east coast of the USA. OldJoe
Was -24c a few days ago, but thankfully gone. Up til -10 is nice, you can still be outside, you can jog etc etc without freezing your nose off. Any colder than -15c isn't nice. It's not very nice for the animals... So god damn much snow has fallen. Got a bowl with bird-seeds outside that I refill each day. I don't want to look at the electricity bill for dec-feb...
