Barrows Isolation

I had 3 minutes to get to my grave from my fally respawn point. I didn't have a hope in hell. I only lost 2mil in runes and bolts and stuff, but damn, the closest teleport to barrows is in canifis and that's still really far away.

So it was more like...erm...6 mil. Lol @ me, and go to hell, karil. Oh wat, you're already dead. failz

Do yourself an immense favor and update your grave before you go to barrows again. 6 mins would give you ample time to return to your grave if you've got the house portal and take the Velif shortcut or run through the vines (as Sy_Accursed discovered just recently.)

If you were praying, maybe look at the cape? Reaching 99 in either fletching or woodcutting would provide +4 prayer, immediately.

Karil had like 30 lp left and i went afk because i thought i could kill him. It turns out we killed eachother at the same time :(

Yeah, you'd be amazed at how long someone can survive at 1HP. Or, in your case, 30LP. Lots of times I can think of boss fighting, it's redbarred and takes like 10-15 hits to kill it. I actually had this theory at one point, where I thought the lower your HP was, the less chance of getting hit you had.

I did over 5,000 runs before gravestones were introduced. When you died you lost everything but your 3 items because Barrows was full of scavengers.

I remember when people would camp out in Dharok's crypt, alching the time away until someone came along. They would try to teleother you to distract you enough to get killed by Dharok then take all your stuff. I always turned my accept aid off when going to barrows, even to this day.

Places were valuable items can be obtained are meant to be out of the way and slightly-very difficult to get to, more so in Runescape than in other games I've seen. It adds to the challenge and increases the need to be careful while you're there. Wouldn't be very fun if it was just right outside the city now would it?
