Laura
Going to attempt to melee Jad later today and just wanted some reassurance on my equipment. Not pictured in my inventory is a set of Dragon Claws (I'll have to borrow those). Halfway through the last 360, I'll cast vengeance, sip an overload +brews + restore, and turn on turmoil. Once it's dead, I'll switch on deflect range until I find Jad, then turn on Soul Split, claw spec, recast vengeance, and then whip him to death. is there anything that I have overlooked/forgot? Thank you. :)
Ardzik
Dont forget what i have done - brews lower your mage level, so if you got bat timeing ( via ovl ) you wont be able to cast veg :P
epitaph_o
I would bring an ovl with more than one dose just in case (it doesnt hurt to have extra doses)
Zaaps1
You have 95 pray, imo you might as well just melee the entire caves. Much faster than ranging. ~It's Super Effective! Laura
I would bring an ovl with more than one dose just in case (it doesnt hurt to have extra doses)Yeah, I thought about that right after I posted. Switched to (3). Thank you. :) You have 95 pray, imo you might as well just melee the entire caves. Much faster than ranging. Eh, never done that before but I am already familiar with ranging. I might try on my second cape though. :D
gremmy
Seems like you already know exactly what to do there, and since your equipment is really good and suffices by far, you're good to go - good luck  Dragon drops: 82 (2 claws)Dagannoth kings drops: 73Barrows item count: 51GWD drops: 54 (5 hilts: 1x bandos, 3x saradomin, 1x zamorak)Whips: 4Sigils: 1x spectral (FFA), 1x arcane (FFA)
mister_moocky
No need for v skirt use a ranging bottom. quit
Quyneax
I'd use a berserker ring, or imbued gemmed ring. Also, even if you're ranging the 360's, melee the 90's, as it's much easier to tank them with Bandos. Kxbow is also somewhat higher dps than crystal (well a lot, really). D Jay99
Also it sounds easy in theory, but practice is harder. Last time I tried rushing him I ended up kicking him 3 times at low health cause I forgot to switch to whip after equipping defender :P I personally just dont bother with actually trying to veng him, I do veng but then I melee him as usual (melee pray perm switching to mage/range) and right before healers come 2 claw specs. If he isn't dead then you should be able to outhit healers.
