But around a year ago in early 2010, WG weren't doing too well ourselves.We were in the midst of a losing streak that would last six months, our morale was dropping, and we were on the edge of death.We had a few fights, including one with 420.They gave us an impressive PvP P2P range-only fight in oldschool gear.And despite our loss, that one out of all stood out to me, looking back. So I, with the support of WG's leadership (as I am not staff) asked Dcranger for our first war of 2011.We had 2 rounds of a matched (first +/-3) P2P CWA war, with a 200k gear cap. One day's prep. Round 1 OptsWG Starting: 51420 Starting: 48WG Ending: 27420 Ending: 0 Round 2 OptsWG Starting: 51420 Starting: 51WG Ending: 33420 Ending: 0 WG won both rounds.However, 420 tell me that their VoIP was DDoSed before and during the fights.I will not throw accusations at anyone for this, but good fight 420 for doing your best anyway.And when I say "good fight 420", I truly mean it. There is nothing bad to be said - two old school clans still alive today, having nothing but a clean and fair fight.WG showed respect, and 420 did the same for us.That's what war is about, and I hope that every member of the Wilderness Guardians and 420 Pkers left tonight having enjoyed themselves in what is nothing more than a fun game of Runescape.I could not ask for anything more.
