l337ubernoob
The last time I lvled hunter must be over 2 years now, I can remember I was still ranked top 10k when I got 85. Since then there have been introduced quite a number of new ways to gain hunter xp, either very fast, very profitable or some kind of compromise between those two extremes. As I want to lvl hunter to at least 90 on short term, could some of you more experienced hunters enlighten me as to the (reasonably obtainable) xp rates, potential profits and best spots/setups etc for the following techniques; 1: Pawwya/Grennwalls2: The new area on Karamja3: barehanded butterflies (as far as Im aware these are only good starting at lvl 90, but who knows)4: any other methods that might be interesting to me Any help is greatly appreciated! Sy_Accursed
pawwya/grenwall - epic cash but epically slow. your lucky if u can get like 100k xp a day on em Jadinkos (karamja) last I heard they were the new fastest xp, not sure if this was disproved thou. But they are certainly up there. Plus you can horde seeds to make farming juju etc which are useful Butterflys barehanded are the fastest xp (might be second fastest now if jads proved faster) right from the first lvl u can do em Operation Gold Sparkles :: Chompy Kills :: Full Profound :: Champions :: Barbarian Notes :: Champions Tackle Box :: MA RewardsDragonkin Journals :: Ports Stories :: Elder Chronicles :: Boss Slayer :: Penance King :: Kal'gerion Titles :: Gold Statue
Quyneax
Butterflies provide agility xp and are more relaxed than jadinkos, I think. Jadinkos provide seeds which are useful in farming herbs and in hunting with traps (scentless). If you want to max out, I'd do butterflies as you are 99 farming and herblore anyway, and the juju potions won't help your xp rates. If you want to do jadinko's, however, you would need to obtain the camouflage first, which takes a while (you need to gain the top & bottom in separate weeks, resetting on wednesday along with pengs/circus). l337ubernoob
Are butterflies viable at 85 hunt and if so, what would be the best spot? About Pawya/Grenwalls, I know its possible to get around 60-70k/hr there, as long as you have the right setup; I also know its a lot of clicking so not as interesting as other methods when it comes to that. Problem is I'd need the right setup, so if anyone is willing to share it that would be great.
Sy_Accursed
The butterflys tht require lvl 85 hunter. Theres no "spots" as such they move around alot but theres loads of em. Quyneax
Grenwalls require bait & smoke, so you use scentless potions and a fruit bat iirc. Th e Doctor
Grenwalls require bait & smoke, so you use scentless potions and a fruit bat iirc. This, @ 99 hunter I aaveraged 900 k-1.2 mil an hour without scentless potions or smoking my traps. With them you would probably break 1.5 mil an hour. Im building a stockpile of potions right now for when I go to grind out the 200 mil i need for 99 prayer. l337ubernoob
Tieszen, could you post a picture of you set up your traps and what bait you use in which? Also, are the scentless potions buyable? For now Ive started the barehanded butterflies, but im not too sure the xp rate is all that great, not to mention its rather boring. On a final note for today (since its bedtime for me); How much xp are the jadinko things, because Ive heard figures of 150k/hr but I have no idea whether these are correct and how much work it would involve. Thanks for the replies so far by the way :)

Thanks for the replies so far by the way :) Its just standard hunting. Try to cover as many spawns with each traps attract range as possible. And there's only two kinds of bait, one for each animal (pawya's and grenwalls). Summon your fruitbat and cast fruitfall to get the papaya's for baiting the pawyas. Use the pawya meat for baiting the grenwall traps. The only tricky part (and its not tricky) is learning to bury bones (not needed if you have a bonecrusher) cast fruitfall and lay traps at the same time. Ps one fruitbat is 44 min long and each dose of the potion is 5 min of scentlessness...if that's a word. So bring 3 3 dose pots for a full 45 min of hunting. And from my understanding the pots arent buyable but you'll get great hunter exp while getting them so you kill two birds with one stone. Leik
Do jadinkos if you want the fastest exp. I'm getting around 180-190k per hour there at 91 Hunt. Possible to get 220k+ at 99. l337ubernoob
Now that is an xp rate that sounds worth my time :) Any specifics on the jadinko hunting; should I hunt a specific type, what gear would I need (I take it itll require scentless potions again), and is there a single best spot in the area? l337ubernoob
Got this one today, at least Ill be able to catch all huntable creatures again :) Did the barehanded butterflies from 85, because they required little attention so I could watch movies while hunting Quick question though, about the herblore habitat: Are you able to gain the mask and a piece of the witchdoctor clothing (top/bottom) in the same week?
