Pinata
So I'm making a thread on what would seem realistic to implement into the world of RS, not really suggestions but like for example I think horses would fit perfectly into the RS theme. This is my list HorsesNecromancyBeltsArrow Holders that go on the back <---forgot what they're called.Samurai SwordsNunchuks lol maybe notBubonic Plague!Taxes! Also, what do you think about some more controversial things like old style guns. Example would be the Arquebus. So basically give your thoughts on what you think belongs in RS, or maybe whats in RS but shouldn't be there, or even things that should never be implemented into RS (for example maybe you really hate the idea of necromancy or something) Capes in order: Firemaking - Cooking - Construction - 99 Dungeoneering- 120 Dungeoneering - Quest - Strength - Prayer - Herblore - Constitution- Attack - Defence - Ranged - Runecrafting - Magic - Fletching - Mining- Farming - Smithing - Slayer - Woodcutting - Summoning - Thieving - Hunter- Fishing - Agility - Crafting - Divination - Max - Completionist0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0000 0100 0101
Dax
Arrow Holders that go on the back - Quivers. And who the hell needs Necromancy when we have Summoning? #KERR2016/17/18/19/20/21. #rpgformod
Krampell
Jagex doesn't like the concept of horses, you see the joke they made when they put in Toy horses just to mess with us.We already have Summoning so there's no need for necromancy.I think Jagex are working on belts atm.Don't know about quiver, but we'll just see what happens.Samurai swords and Nunchuks, Eastern lands are coming once Jagex feels they are done with the current land we have right now.Bubonic plague, there's already west Ardougne which is suffering from a plague, please, don't mess them up even more!Did they have taxes in medieval time? Triquos
What I think would be good: Shapeshifting skill (Gorilla statues/totem poles/emotes like the seal of approval emote, all fit in here)Belts - would be a great addition to the equipment tabAbyssal Queen for 99 slayer - nuff saidDyes - for colour customised armour, just to make you feel a little different to everyone else What I think shouldn't be in RS: GunsHorses (Rideable dragons would be more appropriate for medieval times) Can't think of anything else but yeah, those are my main thoughts on this :-D

BBK
Horses - Jagex has said they won't do this, the speed we run (2 squares per tick) is actually the max speed they can allow our character to move so horses would not speed us up, anyway we have teles to everywhere.Necromancy - Very similar to summoning, could be possible as an addition to the skill like how prayer got curses and mage got ancientsBelts - These were leaked and Jagex confirmed they are working on them.Arrow Holders that go on the back <---forgot what they're called. -Quivers? Well we already have an arrow slot that can hold 2.147b arrows lolSamurai SwordsNunchuks lol maybe not - Possible with eastern lands, they are a bit modern for rs but then again we have dwarf cannons which don't really fit into medieval timesBubonic Plague! - Already referenced in west ardougneTaxes! - You could say we already pay tax, on things like using chaotic and barrows and other little ways jagex takes money out the game lol. Miscellania kingdom also works similar to taxes, with us as the king and oru subjects rewarding us but instead of gold we get raw materials, it is similar to the tax system though. One idea I had a while ago was tax on what we buy at ge, a bit like vat so some of the money we pay is taken out of the game, this would stop merching via ge because buyers would pay a bit more than sellers would recieve but with free trade coming this isn't really needed

Quyneax
I would like a magic-prayer-summoning based necromancy thing (those are incidentally my favourite combat skills :P). Horses are meh, unicorns are good enough. As for firearms, we have cannon, we have quivers as well (though they could do with an actual visible representation), we have a plague, we have curved swords (but no katan), nunchuks suck imo, taxes suck too :P. I'd like some inherent rune-saving ability from runecrafting levels, then again that wouldn't be a real new thing. Masses would be a good thing to have (of npcs) Why isn't Ardougne square a nice and busy place? I also want to fight the dagganoth invasion etcetera... we lack masses. Hajutze
I'd like some inherent rune-saving ability from runecrafting levels, then again that wouldn't be a real new thing. I'd like a whole new group/spellbook of spells that doesn't need any runes + the ability to enchant items for various effects based on magic and runecrafting levels (so rc wont be fked up with the new spellbook) but this wont happen anytime soon ... in other words - never

K112
There really is no need for Horses or Dragons or anything like that.I don't do all that much running with the teleports we have, and more are bound to be added as the game progresses. Pinata
Haha, totally forgot about the quest with the Necromancer, and also I had a debate with my friend about Summoning including Necromancy Vs Necromancy as a solo skill, I just loved that part about Diablo II. It would be nice if Jagex could graphically put some type of quiver/arrow holder onto our person, besides whats on the D-Hide (and we never get to use those arrows!). I'm thinking like a merch/trade outfit like fallout, but RS style outfits would be cool. aspeeder
I'd also like to visually see quivers when using a raged weapon, the best we have right now is accumulator (Or w/e after desert monkey quest) and that's more of a backpack than a quiver; I just want something like the ancient rangers have in Zaro's Stronghold in GWD. http://i700.photobucket.com/albums/ww6/aspeeder/Siggy_zpsewaiux2t.png 99 Strength since 6/02/10 99 Attack since 9/19/10 99 Constitution since 10/03/10 99 Defense since 3/14/11 99 Slayer since 8/30/11 99 Summoning since 9/10/11 99 Ranged since 09/18/11 99 Magic since 11/12/11 99 Prayer since 11/15/11 99 Herblore since 3/29/12 99 Firemaking since 5/15/12 99 Smithing since 10/04/12 99 Crafting since 9/16/13 99 Agility since 9/23/13 99 Dungeoneering since 1/1/14 99 Fishing since 2/4/14 99 Mining since 2/28/14 99 Farming since 6/04/14 99 Cooking since 6/11/14 99 Runecrafting since 10/10/14 9 Fletching since 11/11/14 99 Thieving since 11/14/14 99 Woodcutting since 11/20/14 99 Construction since 12/03/14 99 Divination since 2/22/15 99 Hunter since 2/23/15 99 Invention since 01/20/17 99 Archaeology since 5/14/22Quest Point Cape since 08/20/09 Maxed since 2/23/15 Fire Cape since 02/27/13 Slayer: 3 Leaf-Bladed Swords, 8 Black Masks, 2 Hexcrests, 26 Granite Mauls, 5 Focus Sights, 32 Abyssal Whips, 9 Dark Bows, 1 Whip Vine, 3 Staffs of Light, 15 Polypore Sticks Dragon: 9 Draconic Visages, 7 Shield Left Halves, 20 Dragon Boots, 40 Dragon Med Helms, 8 Dragon Platelegs, 6 Dragon Spears, 20 Dragon Daggers, 5 Dragon Plateskirts, 1 Dragon Chainbody, 63 Off-hand Dragon Throwing Axes, 19 Dragon Longswords, 27 Dragon Maces, 1 Dragon Ward Treasure Trails: Saradomin Full Helm, Ranger Boots, Rune Body (t), Saradomin Vambraces, Various God Pages Misc:1 Onyx,1 Ahrim's Hood, 1 Guthan's Chainskirt, 1 Demon Slayer Boots

A_Fiasco
Um, if anyone remembers the thread about 'Leaked Armour' in the new Runescape trailer (prior to Nex being released) There was an image of a man wearing a Quiver, which was resolved as a certain NPC (the name evades me) So in my mind Quivers could likely turn up, I think as an aesthetic reward (Treasure Trails?) With regards to the Kitana there is someone around the forums with a Firemaking-Kitana related idea (which seemed cool) OT I think that the thing that fits best with Runescape lore to add, is the Pistols and Mage equivalent to spice up those sides of the Triangle, :) No mounts please, this is not WOW we Runescapers use our feet and wits to get about ;)
