66 - 92 Herblore Cost

Hi, I'm making a ton of cash atm at frost dragons to buy me overloads i was wondering how much it would cost me to get 66-92 herblore.

I would just buy unf pots, i cba annoyed to mix the second ingredients before getting exp. x)

Also as i got a really poor knowledge about herblore which pots should i make at which lvl's starting from 66 ?

I'd like not to spend more than 100m if needed i'd go to 150m.

 

Ps: How many pots would i be able to mix in an hour when fully concentrated ?

66-82 do a cheap decent speed potion. The prices are unknown to me since free trade but you should be able to get some decent deals - maybe as good as 10 gp/xp. Look carefully, buy one each of a few herbs/seconds and the resultant potions. Pre-free trade super defence was rather good.

 

82-83 do special recovers. 83-84 do superantifires and more special recovers. 84 make 2k extreme attack w/ stew (440k xp). 85 make 2k extreme strength (460k xp). 86 make 1500 extreme defence (360k xp). 87 make 1500 extreme magic (375k xp). 88 make 2k extreme ranged (520k xp). That's a total of 2155k xp from level 84 which should be close to 91. At that point stew and make 1500 overloads to get 93 herblore and you'll never need boost potions again.

I did some calculations and :

66-82 herblore would cost about 30M at 15gp/exp if i can find at 10gp/exp that would only be 20m !

 

82-91 with all of the extremes would cost 60-65m

 

As of lvl91 i will start to make overloads i won't need to make 1.5k and i also don't want to because for 91-92 i'l need 615 overloads which is 20m.

Because il make less overloads than you said would it be ok making more of the cheapest extreme pots ?

Once i have, lets say 1k off the most expensive ones. (Ranged&magic as il barely use these)

 

That should cost about 110m which is awesome as i won't even need to make any other for combat. :D

 

Oh yes and il need stew... :S

How many of these should i buy ? Are there any tips to keep my boosted lvl for longer ? I don't know anything bout these. :/

Stews, or, Spicy Stews, are up for grabs after the Evil Dave RFD part. Different colored spices give different boosts, ranging from -6 to +6, although +6 is extremely rare and should never be relied on. In this case, you'd like Brown Spices.

My point being, they aren't buyable, and unless you have a Cat or a Wily cat, a pain to get.

As for getting boosted levels for longer, I'd say the Berserker Curse is your best bet, although I'm not sure if they work on Stews.

Using a wily cat is the fastest way to get the brown spices you need for the stews.You can use the log-out trick.As in log in, make overs for about 50 seconds, then log out until a minute passes so the stewed levels don't reset.

I would just proceed as if you were making 1.5k overloads as I set out, and save the extremes until you need more. As you will eventually want 93 herblore (I think) if only for effigies.

Aww can't buy stew, i knew there had to be a downside. :/

 

What would be the way to go if i only stewed the overloads and not all the extremes ?

 

Logging off every 50sec would be a pain to do for hours + i'd have to delete my bank pin to be more efficient.

Eh if you wanted to do that, do spec recovers & superantifires for another 3 levels. You don't need to delete your pin by the way.

you don't have to log off - It's enough to go to the lobby. Takes like 5-10 secs at most.

Oh yes right than i'd rather use mature green's ales pots (+2lvls).

 

Cheapest pots possible with good exp to get 66-82

Any ideas ?

82-84 recovers

84-86/87 antifires

86/87-88 attack

88-89 strength

89-90 defence

90-91 magic

91-92 ranged

92-93+Overloads w/ stew

 

Like this i only need to pot up every 2mins and no need to get into the lobby, well just when il be doing ovs but that would be done in a good hour.

If anyones got a clue on how many pots it's possible to make in an hour i'd be glad to hear it. :)

2k, less with boosting. Also, don't do 2-3 levels of antifires, do more special recovers. Antifire seconds are untradeable and take quite some time to get (probably several hours for the amount you'd need).
