How do you guys know if people are botters? What are the common areas?

It's been a long while since I've played. Botters have changed.

The person that stands there trying to mine a rock while a scorpion kills them, and then doesn't even get the ore from their grave when they come back is a bot. The 10 people who always run to the same place, run off to another spot at the same time and all come back at the same time are bots. The pain in the neck who stands in the GE and shouts over and over again about a RS gold selling site is a bot.

After a while of watching you can begin to predict how a bot will move or act.

THE place for all free players to connect, hang out and talk about how awesome it is to be F2P.

So, Kaida is the real version of every fictional science-badass? That explains a lot, actually...

[Recaptcha is actually pretty week. One of the words has already been identified by OCR, which means it can definitely be done again by a bot, and the second word doesn't actually need to be correct.

From Recaptcha's site: "Each new word that cannot be read correctly by OCR is given to a user in conjunction with another word for which the answer is already known. The user is then asked to read both words. If they solve the one for which the answer is known, the system assumes their answer is correct for the new one."

Just because the answer is already known, it doesn't mean that the answer is known via OCR. It is my understanding that neither word (or more acurately, neither combination of parts of different words) is readable via OCR and instead they use words that have already been proven unreadable by OCR and have instead been identified by humans.

give F2P a penny and they want a dime; give P2P a quarter, they want 100,000 dollars, your car, house, boat, social security number, credit card numbers, drivers license, clothes on your back and everything you ever owned or interacted with ever
