There have actually been different variations of this going around ever since the ls/cs worlds came out. People would team up, say at the kbd, and would bet on which drops would appear. Was fun the one time I tried it, was with 5 other people hunting kbd, and I bet 2.5m on the odds that the next item would be ls'able. Sure enough, a vissy split came, and I walked out of there with a cool 21m. Flower game is just a different variation, mind you even if the dealer loses, chances are he'll still make profit by just picking up the flowers...

As time goes on, lasting impressions will establish themselves. A few dealers (or groups of dealers) will gain an honorable reputation, and will be more trusted.

At least, that's what I hope happens. I don't really want to see another case of creative thinking in RuneScape get abused by scammers and cheats.

Unless someone gives you 20/3 times the cash for win, it'll never be a good idea to even play the game. With duel arena boxing you atleast know you have a 50/50 chance to win, but playing this game at anything less than even odds is just stupid. And not to mention, the whole sceam reacks of scamming. At 4 times profit margain, it's a 38/62 game.

I can see it being more sucessfull if there was like a clan chat or something for it with trusted game dealers. maybe like player mods or something.

Frankly - it's a scam depending entirely upon who the dealer is.

Which means that 90% of the time, it's a scam.

In that case, let's ban all lotteries, bookmakers and online casinos. Hell, let's just bulldoze Las Vegas.

No one here is denying that gambling is a form of regressive taxation.

Lol at the dummies thinking this is a scam. Most flower games are legit if they're offering
to triple or quadruple your coins (without a minimum bet set up).
If they're offering a santa hat, BGS or other items they can't offer
to give away for like a 500k minimum bet then NO [cabbage] it's a scam.

I played this a few times and I was given back my reward without question.

Even if they dont run off with your money its a scam because the odds are stacked heavily against you. Dont play it

So if someone wearing full green dragon wielding an oak shortbow stakes against someone in Torva wielding a BGS, and loses, it's a scam?

The odds of me winning the National Lottery tonight are slim to none. Is that also a scam?

I call it stupid. But it's not a scam. Scamming involves a false pretense.

Its a scam if they present it to make it seem like the odds are in your favor. However the National Lottery makes clear there are millions of players and only 1 winner, as do casinos.

I agree that the flower game has a high probability to be a scam, but don't make up statistics

Lotteries and betting are regulated so what they take is around a 3% tax from playing them(on average), but the profit margain for this sort of gambling is just too large to not be considered a scam as most of the players likely don't know that they are giving their money away.

Haven't seen anyone doing this legit yet, although I find it kinda' hard to believe people would spend their day scamming 10k.

Didn't jagex state that the void conquest will be up for staking? seeing as it's similar to chess, that'd be one way of legit gambling on rs.

It's like a casino game. I wouldn't mind doing it once.
