With BEXP weekend coming up I ask this question, does the abbyssal BOB's extra essence per trip mean more essence crafted per hour, or is the extra banking time of the zmi banker not worth it since we can't fill a familiar's inventory without closing the bank interface actually result in less essence crafted per hour?

 

Also how far should i let my Giant pouch degrade before repairing it?

 

Is the small pouch worth it? Two clicks to net two extra essence per trip (right click and select fill while in bank interface).

Since bank update i think familar is bk to be fail.

Since 1 bank = fill all pouches. now.

-Use the bob its going to give you 7 more ess which builds up substantially

 

-You'll be on lunar so you can use the npc contact spell to fix your pouch straight away

 

-Use all the pouches at your disposal, I always emptied by pouches to gain 15 ess from both (Large mixed with small, and giant mixed with medium) but you don't want to be emptying 1-3 ess from a pouch just not worth it.

I know BOB adds 7, but the problem lies that since we can't fill it without closing bank interface that calls into question if it really is worth it.

 

I know about NPC contact, but using it to repair pouches is several clicks, for the purposes of getting the most exp per hour is it really worth going through the process every time it degrades?

on repair it is worth it.

 

The first degrade massively reduces ess per pouch comapred to the subsequent ones.

Which means you quite argely effect ur xp rate by NOT repairing it.

 

Personally for zmi: i repair pouches asap at degrade but do it at the altar end rather than trying to withdraw cosmics (and possible waters) since after u craft u shuld have the runes anyway.

-Familiar: Iirc, the case is borderline, but the more pro you are at ZMI, the less effective the familiar is, since it can add a lot of time per trip.

-Small Pouch: yes

-NPC contact: yes. Going to the Runecrafting Guild and paying is not only economically inefficient, it also takes much longer (especially when you factor in the tab cost in time). You could also go to the abyss and craft 1 load of deaths, but then you'd have to withdraw a pickaxe, brave pkers, and take about the same time for the conversation to repair your pouch, and get far worse xp at the death altar.

The familiar is worth it if you can time it right. However, even at 60 second runs, the two methods nearly converge. Wouldn't recommend using one simply because of the amount of clicking required. If you're looking to maximize exp, make sure you're using all the pouches, strange fruits, never actually touch the altar (ie, crafting the runes without physically being near the altar), and use mousekeys.
