wow...I'm quite suprised there isn't a topic for this...or there is and I just suck at life(searching). But yeah, the game looks absolutely incredible. The co-op will be unrivaled, and finally for God's sake, a 360 game with split screen!

Quick question though...would anyone happen do know if it's duel compatible for 360 and pc multiplayer? (Thus, can I play multiplayer with my friend on his PC version from my 360.

yea yea yea yea yea it's gonna be awesome. Don't think it's cross-platform since Valve and Microsoft haven't joint-released a cross-platform multiplayer game yet.

Been playing the 360 demo today, decrypting the PC demo atm. It was alot of fun, best game I've played this year by far, and I'd go as far as the best I've ever played. The AI Director really does make every play through a unique experience. Though, with that said, I'm starting to know where weapons could spawn, which takes away some of the uniqueness. Eitherway, can't wait to play Death Toll, sounded like it had some cool chapters.

I've only recently heard about it, but this game looks like its going to be a ton of fun. Its one of the few non blockbuster titles coming out this year that I'm interested in.

I am so buying this. It's pretty pricey though, considering the campaign only lasts a few hours. There are of course countless hours of replayability in the game, and I hope they will release new maps and weapons on a regular basis.

As for the PC demo.. DO WANT DEDICATED SERVERS. There's NONE. Impossible to play online, and there is no server browser. What the hell were Valve thinking when they removed the server browser? :|

it's because of the pc to xbox360 thing that there is no server browser. dedicated servers will come, trust me, only have to wait for the full game to come out

i've got some hints for new players:

 

• -Push away Boomers, SERIOUSLY.. you dont want your whole team to be swarmed while you can't see [cabbage].
   
  -Lone survivors are Dead survivors
   
  -Deal with your ammo wisely, especially when you have the uzi
   
  -Choose a gun fitting to your fighting style, for example, if you always go up close, don't get the hunting rifle, but for long distances the shotgun sucks.
   
  -Play with friends, it's a lot more fun!
   
  -And last of all but certainly not least, stick together!

Yeah, good tips. I always run out of ammo with the uzi, so I'm mostly using the shotgun now and the pistol at long ranges. Man, the dedicated servers are [cabbage]ty at the moment. It's really laggy and the servers tend to crash after a while.

I really hope most of you will be getting this for the PC. The modding possibilities for a game like this are endless. I mean, think of all the zombie movies that's been made. I can't wait for a mall map.

 

 

 

I'll have to agree with the person who said this is the best game I've played this year, and this is just the demo. The AI Director helps everything feel fresh as well, which was something I was worried about.

For server browser: Enable the devolper console in the keyboard options, open it up, type "openserverbrowser" and go to the custom tab. Not all games support you joining via the server browser atm, I belive you can't join an empty server either.

 

 

 

As for the game its self, after getting a good few run throughs on PC with a mate, and 2 other bad team mates. It was pretty damn fun, we kinda stuck together and steam rolled through taking little or no damage and the other 2.. Well we saved them too many times >.>

 

 

 

Also, hunting rifle = BAD. Don't use it, seriously, you will help your team more using dual pistols. Auto shotgun is brutal, M16 I seem to prefer though, but the automatic guns (m16, uzi) seem to eat up ammo, never have to worry with the shotgun.

 

 

 

Can't wait till I can play Dead Air and Death Toll. Roll on the 18th :D
