Tormented Demons - Steet Titan method.

Well this past week i started using Steel Titan at TDs. I used to use Unicorn + EEE but that was kind of stupid seeing as either EEE or Uni alone would offer enough healing, using both was just pure overkills. Now i have some issues using Steel Titan. My Prayer Switching is fine but i still get down to ~200 lp very often and there are two reasons for that.

1) If i chose to use a spot that enables me to lure more than 1 TD at a time i often get hit by one just as it spawns or comes into attacking range. Then luring it behind the rock i might take another hit.

2) When i've lured multiple TDs in a way that only one can attack me at a time i often get hit by the random mage attack from other tds which sometimes deals a lot of damage (espcially when there are two of them doing it).

So where do i go from here?

If it help, my current setup is Void, Claws, Rapier, CCbow.

Bring a few brews and make the trips a bit shorter, it doesn't take THAT long to get to them!

I already take 6 brews as it is :\ My previous trip i managed to do quite well just focussing on a single spawn. Got 27 Kills in about 50 minutes. Its not as fast as it could be but its faster than doing it with a Unicorn. Problem is i can't really take any more brews than i already do, and i shouldnt have to take 6 brews in the first place.

Well I'd say, first try to last 1 overload, using elite void/handcannon/cmaul/fire cape etc, maxed melee and ranged offence. Trips will be very short and very intense.

This inventory almost always works for me (unless some lvl 120 narb comes and messes up my lures, logs out, and all of them attack me):

Rapier

Dlight

EEE

Steel titan pouch (unsummoned)

3 overload

Sapphire lantern

500 steel of legends scrolls

7 sara brews

12 prayer potions

Using EEE spec whenever I drink a dose of overload and then drinking a dose of brew when below 269 LP, I can usually last the full hour there without having to bank early. It really just takes practice.

edit: Void might work, but I personally use black d'hide with neitiznot and barrows gloves. More defence and much less unnecessary risk.

Come support my max total goal here.

Briobe122's 10-step guide to staking:

1. Get cleaned

2. Vow to never stake ever again! (very important)

3. welfare tds and get claws

4. kill glacors til i get boots

5. bandos ffa or more tds til i have around 50m

6. realize that it is far too hard to rebuild using steps 3, 4, and 5

7. give up the vow to never stake again

8. go back staking and make your bank back

9. if you failed at step #8, Go back to step #1

10. if you succeed at step #8, you will eventually feel the need to make money for rich people stuff, have a bad day of staking, then get cleaned anyways

Pain is just weakness leaving the body.

Void kills the TDs faster, making the tiny less amount of defense easily much better, Elite Void has a prayer bonus, And a 15 minute grave is far more than enough to get back to TDs.

Have you practiced swapping to soul split for hits? There is only one TD attack in 5-6 that swapping to soul split for your hit that will actually hit you (at crossbow/CLS speed)

The extra healing really helps, I used to do 4 overload trips with steel titan and no brews (using EEE to heal overload damage)

Granted, you may die now and then with no emergency healing, but take 1 brew, and practice will make perfect :P

On a side note, when the TD's do that random mage attack, if you can swap to magic protect in time, you can block that and the TD your fighting's damage, even if it's ranging. You just have to be very quick, and very good at prayer switching

Pretty sure flashing soul split is mandatory for steel titaning for the reasons you listed, are you not doing that?
