Corp. Beast Advice

Recommended Posts

Rnadomly want to give corp a try but I dont quite know where to begin. Ive read a few guides on the subject and watched a few vids. Looks like I could do it without too much trouble, but I dont know anyone who could teach me, or let me tag along with their team to begin. I looked on the rs forums and they all want pro 130+ or 125+ except for masses. I dont particularly want to do a mass, because you dont really learn much from it. Any advice would be appreciated!

Stats in sigg.

Thanks

If you want you could try and tag along with me and some other people who don't quite know all their doing. Might be fun :P.

You should mass; your stats are terrible for a good team(only melee is good and you have att/str of a level ~100). Defense basically doesn't matter.

I'm surprised that your having trouble finding a corp team when you have 99 prayer and 98 herblore. :ugeek:

Corp is pretty easy though, pray mage and melee when he is on you, stay away from the core, and don't die.

If you still need a team, there is a thread on the RSOF where you can post asking for a team.

Hi if you're reading this you are amazing and I love you.

Maybe they'll release a bugless update for April Fools. That'd sure be a joke

For corp, you wear magic defence, protect from magic or soul split, and kite if it targets you with melee. One person uses a full leech and emerald bolts (e) on the core (mithril crossbow). This person could perhaps be you.

Since quite a lot of your healing is supposed to be from soul split, low attack and strength levels are a major drawback. But you should be able to join a no-overload team or no-turmoil or something.

Whats the point in having turm and overload if Im not going to use them though... Basically what you're all saying is, corp isnt something my account could do in a team without getting my combat level up higher which I dont particularly care to do at this point in time. Thank you all anyway! I guess Ill just have to wait on that one for a while.

You already have turm...

Really? Cause as I recall it was you who was the one cussing me at base. Also, re-read what you just said: one 15 second delay (which is an exaggeration to begin with) ruins floor times? You are beyond ridiculous.

That's the point :P.

@ OP: Sadly/understandably, you need more than just turmoil to corp effectively. However turmoil is also very useful in getting those other stats.

On an slightly related note:

How exactly does corp agressiveness work? He seems to be meleeing me 70% of the time I'm in a 5~9 man team...

Yea, I do already have turm, but what im saying is that basically what im getting from this is that unless I get my att/str up turm wont do much for corping at the levels i have.

And yea, Turm would be very very useful in getting my att/str up... but Im trying not to get too high of a combat level - I kinda want to stay a little bit of a skiller, and 125 (which id like to max at - 85 att/str and 70 summy still to go) is already really really high for me. So for now, I think I'll just leave it and try and find some other boss I could do easier. Not quite sure which, because I havent done much bossing at all, only like 2 bandos trips and a few solo tds trips... but I'll find something.

With 85 Str, you will not find a good boss to kill. Just stick with Frosts.

Well, you could always try solo arma. It's not TERRIBLE money from what I hear.

[hide]

99 Strength 99 Fletching 99 Range 99 Hitpoints 99 Attack

99 Dungeoneering <3 99 Magic 99 Smithing 99 Herblore

99 Theving

Slayer Drops: 14 whips, 22 D boots, 27 Granite Mauls, 42 Effigies, 5 Dark Bows.

What would be cool is if Drakan and his minions kill all the sig heroes in the quest except Raptor who is wrecking. You and him team up and cave in some vampyre heads. He becomes a total bro in future quests and in a GM quest he receives a fatal injury and his last dying words to you are "Brofist, mang"
