World Crashes and Login Difficulties

World 92 just went offline and such isn't uncommon. However I'm unable to log into my account 20 minutes later. I'm not asking for help or advice as I'm sure that I'll be able to log back in when world 92 is restored, but I was curious if this is a common phenomenon or not.

I am also blocked out of my account. everytime i log in it says i am already logged in, please wait a few minutes etc. I was halfway through a TD kill :(

Seems like a number of servers, including high risk pvp worlds, are offline. Think this will affect anyone who was in combat? I wonder since -everyone- on said worlds would be dc'd and I'm unsure if they would continue to engage in combat.

There seems to be a lot of worlds crashing tonight and problems with servers, 51, 54 and 10 went down earlier I believe.

When worlds crash your character is "stuck" on there but not actually active, there'll likely be a small rollback too.

Thats a small relief. I was only playing fist of guthix so I'm not worried about safety or such, but it's nice to see that Jagex cares about its players enough to issue a small rollback.

Edit: Didn't you just get that hex, Smelly?

World 23 went about 15 mins ago, was about to kill the boss of a medium dungeon I'd soloed. I'd opened all rooms as well and was looking forward to the exp rolling in

Notable solo drops: x3 Bandos boots, x2 Dragonic Visage, x2 Bandos Tassets, x1 Bandos Hilt, x1 Bandos Chestplate

Stuck as in, just superficially on other peoples friends list, or actually just standing there, getting killed, then standing in lumby some more type of stuck?

The world have crashed, nothing is happening on them, the worlds can't even send a logout packet to let the other worlds know you're logged out so you still appear online. The games will be rolled back to the last save before the server crashed, not something done on purpose.

With regards to dungeoneering binds being lost, fairly sure Jagex give those back if you lose them. Someone mentioned it here before, not sure how you'd go about contacting them (bug report maybe?) but I've heard that they do it.

I was in world 67 with crash in a dungeon :) gf hex/hood/primal 2h/primal plate? :)

dont forget saggy arrows p++

(i assume you had that bound too)

Boss drops aren't a concern they're like a 90% drop, it's the SSH and Hex I'm woried about lol

Jagex want us to write dungeoneering guides yet refuse to fix lost binds.. unbelievable.

There've been multiple bind crashes now. They have yet to restore binds. If you lose your binds in a server crash, you're [bleep]ed.

To put it bluntly, [bleep] off.

Fairly sure they gave people their binds back from when the servers went down a couple of weeks ago.

More incentive to dungeoneer! Thats the Jagex agenda.

Jagex don't reimburse items or binds, it's part of their "our hardware is faulty but we do not take responsibility for it" policy.

They didn't. I had to waste an entire weekend of no-lifing to get my Silk Hood back. -.-

I was eating when w67 went down the first time tonight. Was concidered lucky to have not been on.

w67 went down again not long ago and I'm stuck. I was tired of Dunge and losing my binds again to a server crash really isn't helping the issue.

There were certainly people posting here claiming that they got their binds back. I'm sure it's not an automated system but I'm 99% sure it has been done. Maybe that was a special case I don't know, but some people *did* get their binds back.

Well I would definitely like mine back

Last time I recall worlds crashing, there was a half hour rollback or something, wasn't there?

And it really sucks for those who were dg'ing at the time this time - I think I'd quit dg'ing entirely if I lost my binds, even though I only have a ssh/prom 2h bound :/

Hopefully everything will be back on soon.
