Yup, good days they were. Where at Castle Wars everyone had a whip, no godswords, nothing. And the old Ice Barrage animation made everything lag on full servers, fun stuff.

Inb4 remember the days we had none of that stuff.

remember when this topic was posted 2 weeks ago....and 2 weeks before that...and 2 weeks before that.

I agree with TrixStar, topics like this get posted a LOT. Perhaps there needs to be a sticky for "Remember when..." posts.

Was just talking about this.

When you're dging, come across an altar, and everyone gates it, then clears it.

Later come across the door, "guys gate this door", "can't, got altar gated", followed by "same" x3

Lol pre-GGS. Some genius was at work when he created that item.

Oh and I remember when a bot was placed in the most out of the way places instead of in plain sight.

I remember when people would Rubber Chicken trap in the duel arena.

I remember when everyone had Dharoks and Infinity

I remember when people actually used to trade/sell things (I seriously can't imagine anymore trying to buy 10K herbs or w/e without the GE).

What's will all these inflated numbers?

100M rich?

Santas at 3M?

I remember when Santa hats were 100k, Masks were 100-300k, Party Hats were 1-10M. If you had a party hat, a dragon shield, and a triple digit combat level, you were god.

Actually having to go to the rsof to try and buy anything, unless you went to W2.

When having a whip, dragon platelegs, and verac's brassard with whatever for a shield meant you were a beast.

Camping fire giants, hoping for that rare red helmet.

Wearing a dragon chainbody meant you were filthy rich.

Trading noted yew longbow (u)'s and bowstring and cash for completed bows. Also, the fletching guild.

Whenever you saw a person wearing a monk's top, black dhide chaps, and a dragon scimitar automatically meant 'pure'.

And much more.

Unfinished netherrack symbol of Khorne.

Never forget. ~creeper face w/single tear~

DO YOU HEAR THE VOICES TOO?!?!

On a similar note, remember when we weren't all reminiscing about the "good ol days" and just played the game and had fun doing stupid stuff and enjoyed it

I don't think Jagex ever left those days and still operate under the impression that they are in the same years before the rwt crisis
