Yeah, I don't think I would ever use a wand or staff with a high magic attack, over a staff that give me free runes, unless it had an absolutely insane magic bonus, or some other special effect.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

It remains to be seen what stats the new robes have, but they're 50 magic and 25 def, so they'll probably be above mystic and below Ahrim. I might still want the gloves, boots or book though.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I've already decided that I'm getting bones to peaches. *Grins*

50000 x 67 = 3,3mil exp... just enchant lvl 4 for all stuff you can get...

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

why, i found the enchanting place a waiste of time. i do not have 500k cosmic runes and stuff and i DO occasionally use them.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

oh well, ill just go get 1 more magic lvl and do lvl 6 enchant

jagex shud add some teleports to kill some monsters rather than this boring...

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

oh and even u lose all ur work if u lose ur connection

I dunno about you guys, but I sense a new magic training spot. I was casting lvl 6 enchant on those orbs in the enchant cave and I was getting insane xp. The spell is meant for onyx jewelry, a lava staff covers the elemental runes needed, then you just lose 1 cosmic. It was awesome :P

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

As for rune prices.... ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ (way way up), I've seen people buying natures for like 500 each today.

Jagex sensed it too; Enchant xp has supposedly been decreased to 73xp for a level 6 spell, and 68xp for a level 5 one.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

yea I noticed I was only getting 73 xp a pop instead of the 93 I got when I enchanted my fury ammy ;\

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

EDIT: did anyone else think the mage book could have been a new set of spells or am I stupid and its really obvious that its a prayer book thing?

Mod Paul told us in the same post that experience outside the Arena hasn't changed. Either you're full of crap, or you just saw a bug. :\

I think the xp was lowered for the spells during the update or I counted the xp wrong when I traded my onyx + materials + 100k for my ammy.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

EDIT: I thought I was getting 65 xp an alch in the alchemy room? I thought it was 55 xp.

It's true, i was hanging around in w2 duel arena and ppl were paying insane amounts for the needed non-elemental runes. laws went for 500 to 1k ea and nats were about 400 to 500 ea. of course i couldn't sell more than max of 50 laws a pop but nats were easier to sell high.

Whoever appeals to the law against his fellow man is either

Actually not all the time, at the alch cave u can alch for free the item that has the green arrow next to it. so basically with fire staff it's totally free magic exp.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Not quite true. I tried this, and you need to have the runes in your inventory. With a fire staff and no natures, I tried to cast high alch on the free ("arrowed") item. I was able to select an item on which to cast it on, despite having no runes. You need the minimum runes in your inventory for one cast, but they are not used.

well i think they better be dam amazing because of the amount of time it takes to get full infinity compared to barrows and that of mystic. plus the cost it is tog et full infinity compared to that of ahrims. the mage book could be nbew spells but is probably just a mage bonus like because there isnt really a shield for mages. if u can use crystal u can use ahrims, but this is only 25 def required so the def will be better than mystic but not as good as split (or tehre is no point in split) and the mage bonus will be higher simply because the highest mage bonus u can get is pooh right now unless your 70 def.

The alchemy room is a place for cheap magic xp with no loss of runes if you are patient. I went in with a lava staff and 5 nats to see what the place was all about. I alched only the free alch items all the time. After 5 misclicks where I alched the non-free item, I came out with around 10k xp more than I had when I went in. With a little more care, you can easily last a lot longer in there. Also got 25 alchemy points in doing so.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The enchanting room is a place for really good xp especially with the lvl 6 enchants. Using up 550 cosmics, I got 1050 enchantment points and 21 blood and 18 death runes. The xp gained was around 38k at the end of it.

lvl 6 enchanting is great xp

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I used up 2k cosmics last night and got around 150k exp (73 xp per cast, but occasionally you get 3 cosmics for the orbs which was another 80 cosmics or so)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

If you do it without caring about the pizazz point and just going striaght after one color item and non stop enchanting, you should get 100k+ an hour.

 

 

 

I got around 2400 pizazz for the 2k cosmics I used and I only anchanted the gold cubes as fast as possible.

 

 

 

The 150k I got took about 2 hours, but that was because I was watching tv...It could probably be done 90 mins or so...
