EEE

I just finished elite seers and I upgraded my excaliber. Can someone give me a breakdown of how to best utilize it? Do I bring it on all slayer tasks? Does this help me to be able to bosshunt any better then previous to having it? I would like to find some good moneymakers to aid in my quest for 95 prayer.

I already do mtk, and herb runs, so no need to remind me to do them. I need to up my slayer for juju's but right now I am focusing on Dging and raising my smith/mage and doing slayer for charms for summon and cash.

Bring it to all slayer tasks and you probably will not need to eat on them again.

Really? Cause as I recall it was you who was the one cussing me at base. Also, re-read what you just said: one 15 second delay (which is an exaggeration to begin with) ruins floor times? You are beyond ridiculous.

I use EEE for waterfiend tasks, and for bossing if I don't bring claws. It is much more useful when you do not have soul split for some healing you might need on slayer tasks. I also use it at frost dragons, and for healing my overload damage for solo bossing.

I would say, if you don't have claws, then EEE will help you on any slayer task where you just agro the entire room of monsters and then kill them all. Dagganoths and fire giants come to mind.

All you do is use it and then click the special. The special acts instantly, no need to be in combat or anything. It casts just like the regular excaliber special, or like the dragon battleaxe special.

to use it do I have to equip it, then hit the special bar and use it on a monster?

You equip it, hit the special, and then the healing effect begins. You don't need to register a hit, so just switch back to your normal weapon quickly. For the most part, EEE in slayer is useful when a monster damages you at a rate beyond that which your healing familiar can reasonably restore your hp. Waterfiends is a good place, miths as well off the top of my head. Until you get soul split, it's a pretty handy thing to have but you do need to sacrifice a spec weapon (claws/dds). Also, like PereGrin (hey, think I saw you at Kura earlier by the hellhounds ;o) said, it heals off most of your overload damage.

It's good for slayer if you need healing, but in general it's better to bring an offensive special + additional healing provided that healing isn't food or brews. So claws + unicorn >> EEE + bunyip even though the yip is cheaper.

I have a unicorn, but have never used it, I dont really get how to use scrolls, so I generally just stick with my bunyip. Also what is "agro"?

So if you already have the scrolls - you can click the summoning familiar interface (just click the wolf circle underneath your health circle) and click the top left button (either that or the top right one)

Aggro is the term for when a monster is aggressive towards you, meaning you are the one being attacked.

So if three people are attacking a boss, the person who is being targeted by the boss is said to be the one who has the aggro.

"Aggroing" a monster (or several monsters) is basically just going around and getting them to attack you. (Such as the healers when fighting Jad- you want to aggro them so they focus on you instead of healing)

Do the one on the left to use a unicorn scroll. Or just set it like the one on the right and then you can just normally click the summoning button and the unicorn heals you.

The one thing Quyneax missed is that if you take a combat familiar (geyser titan or better) then you wont be able to use a healing familiar. So for dagganoths or fire giants (or others) where you can use a combat familiar, you will need some other form of healing. EEE lets you tank fire giants pretty easily without having to worry about gathering bones for B2p, and a geyser titan will speed up your task more then claws will. Therefore, Geyser+EEE > Claws+Unicorn.

Hmmm I don't know about that, I've been using soul split too long I guess.

when should I use a geyser titan?

In multicombat.

Yeah, all multi tasks

DK drops (solo/LS): 66 hatchets, 14 archer rings, 13 berserker rings, 17 warrior rings, 12 seerculls, 13 mud staves, 7 seers rings

QBD drops: 1 kite, 2 visages, 4 dragonbone kits, 3 effigies, lots of crossbow parts

CR vs. CLS threads always turn into discussions about penis size.
...
It's not called a Compensation Longsword for nothing.

I've sent a 12k combat mission to have Aiel assassinated (poor bastard isn't even Pincers-tier difficulty).
