I'm just wondering what is best to put your manage thy kingdom on these days. It used to be 10 herbs and 5 maples/fish, what mine is currently on, but has it changed since then?

Thanks!

Dark is correct in terms of profit. However, if you need resources to train a specific skill, you should go with that. I currently use 9 on maples (NOTE: 9 on maples IS THE SAME PRODUCTION as 10 on maples) and 6 on herbs. I like to get the birds nests, because you can often get multiple 20k+ seeds per check (and yew and mage seeds which are 70k and 240k respectively). I use the herbs to train herblore (duh) because it is only level 54 currently. It's mostly up to you, just avoid rare woods, and fishing.

Actually 9 maple 6 coal is win.

9 maple and 10 give same number of nests when you collect weekly.

And 1 workers worth of coal is worth more than 1 workers worth of maple logs.

@ Rag: It's better to make the most money then buy your supplies. Mahogany was also pretty good a while ago, close to coal in terms of profit, though teak universally sucks.

I'd really, really like to see proof of this. I'm not calling you a liar, I'm being perfectly serious. Because, imo, the only reason to get maples is the nests.

Squab unleashes Megiddo! Completed all quests and hard diaries. 75+ Skiller. (At one point.) 2000+ total. 99 Magic.

The only thing wrong with it is the lack of a percentage for when you need to stroke it.

Its a well known fact I think Grimy even has numbers on it somewhere.

You have to do something like a month for 10 maples to produce more nests than 9.

And to get proof:

Do mtk one week 10:5 note number of nests

Do mtk next week 9:6 note number of nests being identical

1250k if you collect weekly.

Actually you only need 1.2m no need for the extra 50k.

Math behind it being:

You are charged 10% of coffers up to a max of 75k a day

6*75k is 450k

With 1.2m in coffers 6 days takes u down to 750k coffers.

7th day will still take the full 75k as 10% of 750k = 75k

Having said that I'd recommend aiming for around 1.5m in coffers jsut incase u forget or a bit late or even use it as a bit of a "savings account"

You need to put 525k bk in a week to keep things running but if u put it a little extra (i usually do bout 800k) you can slowly a mass up to 7.5m that you don;t automatically think of in terms of money.

Then when something comes up where u ened a sudden cash injection you can go to it (i usually save mine for sudden expensive trianing bursts to keep upo to date with quests or BXPW)

And with 9 maples and 6 coal your certain to make your money back?

Yes, you should get two to three times your money back, more if you get some good seeds.

Yup luck plays a big factor with seeds but 9 maple 6 coal you will 100% make at least 1mil selling everything (leaving 475k profits).

The average week is around 1 - 2 mil profts.

Good weeks you can even push in to 5 or 6 mil regions

Maples. The longer you leave it, the better seeds obtained.

If by better, you mean more, than yes. However the seeds produced are completely random.
