Just moments ago, a legitimate Facebook page was created for the title and a teaser trailer released. Rumor has it it will be released November 8th of this year. I thought Modern Warfare 2's single-player mode was a ton of fun, despite the mess that its multiplayer turned into. I'm also pleased at the reintroduction of Spec Ops. Also the fact that it's being developed by 3 different developers is just... odd. Not like it's hard to make a CoD game at this point if they are just using the same technology. Those leaks indicate that Modern Warfare 3 involves a near-future war between the United States and Russia, though it focuses on the operations of elite military units spread around the globe. It makes sense that Russia would attack any possible allies of the U.S., hence the reason for attacks on England, France, etc. Or just read this article. MW3 story in a nutshell apparently. It's all being planned by Makarov. Next, players take on the role of an SAS operative who is tasked with stopping a delivery of weapons of mass destruction at a London dockyard. A gun battle ensues, and the agents are chased through the London subway. The mission culminates with a series of unmarked trucks exploding in front of the house of Parliament, releasing a deadly chemical agent. Also...[hide]The game's final mission occurs in Dubai, where Yuri, Price and Sandman launch an assault on a heavily guarded hotel, eventually finding Makarov and, yes, finally killing him.
