I think it should be added, you haven't completed the game without them.

If they aren't added it will just moreso prove that the trimmed cape is tailored around a select few players, not completing the game. Dungeoneering journals should definitely be a requirement, but they likely weren't added as then noone would have the cape.

Am I the only one that thinks it was shortsighted/unfair to only count P2P kills with the hat, only allow the hat to be upgraded on a P2P server (yet allow the upgraded hats to be shown -wtf), and speaking of shortsighted, create a fast, new way for players that'd dare link FB with RS to be phished?

Nope your not the only one. PK-ing is most likely a major thing in F2P, and it's sad that Jagex keeps F2P out of a update that keeps track of your kills. Considering F2P accounts and players are use to advertise Runescape + Jagex saying "It's not a demo".

Hats aren't a requirement for cape trim.

I just paid someone for my first 250 Duel Arena kills and I'm already sick of it. Anyone else who wanted to cheat the hats is welcome to them, although they'll probably fix it eventually so you need to kill different people each time .

 

Being able to wear any of the previous hats you've unlocked was a good idea though. Something like that should have been probably been used for trimmed skillcapes and other similiar stuff.

 

D beasts, all metal dragons, black dragons, mutated and stykeworms and now all one click. There isnt any other slayer task monsters with 138 combat+? ... Cant be catering for all dem lvl 70's who want to one click lesser demons @@@@

 

Wyverns, higher LRC, black demons, Tzhaar-Ket.

 

Black demons and Wyverns shouldn't have been missed since they're not really near any noncombat areas.

I kind of disagree with LRC though because it's a place mostly used for skilling. It would have been better if they had just made everything left click by default and put an option to change it to right click.

Hah! Maybe. But only if you code it so if a monster is a higher level and isn't your task, no right-click. I don't think that's doable so no. Just level up combat till you can right-click XD

 

How would it not be doable?

It might be that easy. Depends on how the right-click options are coded in the first place, remember. For all we know, making that work would involve an overhaul of the entire right-click a monster coding. Or it might not. If it is simple, the I support.

Finally, considering what the trimmed completionist cape requires, I think all these kills and the DG journals should be added.

The Trollheim shortcuts have been significantly sped up.

 

The best update this week.

 

Hoo boy! Also, the summoning pouch filter is pretty neato. Shame they nerfed fletching bolts, though. One step forward, 0.75 step back I suppose.

I thought forcing the right click was a measure implemented to prevent lower leveled players from rushing into a fight with a monster they couldn't handle, which was then kind of useless after a while since gear meant more than level at a certain point and became an overall inconvenience since most of the time if you're close enough to something you shouldn't be fighting to select it, you would be within aggro range anyway and it wouldn't stop you from getting slammed. Claiming it's now a "right" for high level characters to not put up with a flawed system makes as much sense as saying that it takes skill to rapid fire bolt crafting.

Overall I think it's dumb that the first thing needs to stay around JUST BECAUSE it was a holdover from before we had many factors determining our survivability, and the second because we have to clutch to bolt crafting instead of say, some kind of other fletching activity we could do that isn't also linked to inconvenience.

 

although I will complain if broad bolt prices shift downward right after I bought the ability to make them, lol

Whenever I hop worlds using the lobby, I get logged out when the game starts the countdown message..

 

Is this happening to anybody else?

 

For me, yes. Not sure if for everyone.

I want jagex to put resource dungeons and dungeoneering skill doors to dungeoneering floors so I can dungeon and get dungeoneering xp while I dg so I don't have to dg to get dg exp, but I can dg while I dg :)?

- Makes buying pouches from Wizard at GoP much easier ( right now it's like 30 seconds per pouch ;_; )

 

At above, yes it autologged me when the countdown started.

 

Noting extremes would require an engine restructure.

I am on my phone else i would quote the issue i have but it would seem that Jad's range attack now acts like his mage attack in that you get hit and hear it at the same time. How will this affect getting a fire cape?

You mean his mage attack is now like his range attack?

 

His range attack is silent until it's too late. You can hear his mage attack as soon as he uses it. So if his range attack is now like his mage attack, he's gotten easier.

Sadly if that was Jagex's outlook on game tweaks, decanting potions would be among the lowest of their priorities, considering the bots haven't seem to gone anywhere since February...

Bolt making is "make 15 sets" now. Slow exp and less afk then bow fletching.

 

GF Jamgex for messing up one of the best fletching methods.

At least I've been buying/selling in 20k amounts so I'm not stuck with hundreds of thousands of useless items.

i like bolt update i was about to sell 400k unf bolts because my hand not going through them manually

i think mostly botters complaining because they cannot do them anymore with unnatural speed.

TzTok Jad's ranged attack sound effect now begins as soon as the projectile is launched.

 

Yeah I see that what I wrote could have been read that way but what i meant was that they are both the same with the range having been changed to be like the mage.
