Dazzuh Posted June 2, 2011 Share Posted June 2, 2011 This isn't a new issue to me, it's been happening for a while but now that I actually want to level farming a bit faster as I'm getting towards the 70's the farming guide (not just from Tip.It) isn't exactly helping. It says on the guide Fruit Trees should take 14.6 hours to grow, now I understand you have to leave some room for disease etc. BUT after 20 hours my Fruit Trees are NEVER ready, none of the five patches. Am i missing something here or is the farming guide wrong? :/ At least for Fruit Trees anyway. Oh yeah and I am using Supercompost. Currently not active on RuneScape. Jaffy1 Posted June 2, 2011 Share Posted June 2, 2011 The farming times mentioned in the Farming guide were provided by Jagex after the farming skill came out. We note in the guide that actual growing times may differ, as these depends on several other factors (logging in and out a lot affects cycles for example). Generally you can count on one fruit tree run a day as they do take somewhere between 15 and 20 hours (in my experience they occasionally "glitch" or skip cycles making them last over 24 hours; I once had to wait 2 days for a single tree to finish). essiw Posted June 2, 2011 Share Posted June 2, 2011 You forget one big thing, If you log in you "reset" the last "farming tick" so lets say every 20 minutes your tree grows a tiny bit, if you log in every 20 minutes it doesn't grow at all. (now obviously this isn't 20 minutes).
